I'm sorry you've had trouble with our game. The game will in fact play at that resolution. I've written a work-around for the problem you describe on our own forums:
http://www.noreplygames.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=85What is happening is that the game is trying to set itself to your monitors maximum resolution, but it has made a mistake about what this resolution is. In future versions of Seduce Me I will make a little app to allow you to change the resolution outside of the game, but in the meantime there is a workaround if you're interested.
- OPTION 1 (easy) borrow someone else's monitor, open Seduce Me, manually change the resolution in Seduce Me to one your monitor can handle and then replug in your monitor. Seduce Me will save the resolution and won't attempt to do a higher one.
- OPTION 2 (harder) edit the registry keys directly: (this is where Seduce Me saves the monitor resolution).
Type regedit in the start menu. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\No Reply Games\Seduce Me
Double click on resolutionHeight_h2036822356 and change the value (see below).
Double click on resolutionWidth_h88556813 and change the value (see below).
Open Seduce Me.
A couple of different values for different resolutions are:
1280x768: height 300 & width 500
1024x768: height 300 & width 400
You can always change the resolution to a different one after opening Seduce Me.
