Arnie and the Hitchhiker - MAC, Linux & Windows release

EDIT (21 July 2015): I limit the number of sites on which I post my VNs. I do this so if someone has questions or problems I can provide support. PLEASE do NOT upload my copyrighted visual novels to other sites.

EDIT: Now available for on-line play at newgrounds
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/684420

EDIT: Take on the role of Arnie, who gets dumped by his girlfriend, and makes a wrong turn on his way home. Arnie subsequently encounters a mysterious female hitchhiker [Marcella] with a dark secret. This could be a night he'll never forget.
Can you solve the mystery and save Marcella from her horrible fate, or will Arnie meet his doom?
There are 8 alternate endings. The ending you get depends on choices you make in the game.

A tip of the hat to DaRoot, TheMajor, and Loup Garou for suggestions and beta testing. Kudos to kexter for the HTML conversion, and to NapoleonSolo for testing on a Linux system.

This is an update to my previous release of Arnie and the Hitchhiker. . I altered and expanded the ending where Arnie wrecks his car to make it MUCH more interesting (it doesn't end there).

While this visual novel contains explicit sex scenes, it is not a 'fuck fest' my purpose is to tell a story.

Technical stuff:
Playing time to reach the 'best' ending (if you make all correct choices) is about 20 minutes.
System requirements: A web browser that is capable of playing HTML 5. This has been tested using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera, on a PC running Windows 7. It was tested on a MAC system using Safari, and on a Linux system using Firefox, Opera and Chromium browsers.

Known issues:
1. There are screen size and save/load misalignment issues with Internet Explorer 11. While the game is playable, I recommend you use another browser.
2. On a Linux system using Chrome, you might get a blank black screen. This can be fixed by telling Chrome to allow the game to set local data.
3. Depending on your browser and browser settings, save game information may disappear when you close your browser.

Note: Rapidly clicking to skip dialog may cause the VN to crash, or skip visuals.
Uncompress the compressed file using 7zip, winzip, winrar, or your favorite archiver. You may install the game in any folder on your hard drive.
To run the game, run the index.html file.

If you encounter any difficulties, let me know.
Very respectfully,
fleet

I guess the Link was being weird. Like 10 minutes ago, it wasn't working, but now it is.

Being a Linux user, I tried running it under Wine and it seemed to work okay until I got to the interesting activities in the bedroom. I went for the first option and it promptly crashed! I hope it wasn't something that will happen again since I don't particularly want to boot into genuine Windows to see the rest of it.

The menu in the bedroom takes the player to animated scenes. The animated scenes are in WMV format. I'm not sure if Wine can recognize them.

Perhaps too many people were trying to download at the same time (1000 downloads in less than 24 hours).

Best regards,

Don't really understand the point of this...since no matter what you pick it's the same outcome (except for the obvious instant game-over choices.) Why put choices in at all if you weren't going to allow them to play out? If the player wants to comment on her knockers, why not? Let's see the consequences to such a bone-headed move instead of playing things out as if you had never picked it. Oh, and the ending? Crap.
