How did you avoid getting destroyed by the darkness hit? I have rings of greater darkness on three characters and boots of nabonga on the hero and still get knocked out.

Darkness hit is ramdom....Just try and try and try............

I finally got him and got Farah pregnant. I was trying with Opala and that didn't work, for some reason.

How do you get the screen to clear from the words on it when it's showing a scene?

If you don't use fury or rage against Altum, it takes more time, but Darkness shouldn't kill everybody.

I don't think it's possible to remove the text during the scenes...

If you bought greenfield, you should be able to meet the dutchess and get her two quests. What exactly is happening when you try to visit her? Have you met her at any point yet?

Latex is incompatible with Layla btw, so if you allow Layla to join your party, then Latex will refuse. You'll find her in the impregnator cave during a quest

when i try to visit her in the mansion the guard tell me to go away

I already answered your question:

Duchess:
The quests are no more possible after you entered the castle in Thebes through the underground.
Only in the next playthrough possible for you (I had the same problem)

You got a message by the game, that when you enter this dungeon, that some quests are no more possible afterwards. You should have finished these before entering. One of them was the Duchess quests. But they are not that important.

What is a nerophant? The wiki says they drop the Blackshade metal, but I can't find one anywhere.

Anyone run across a walkthrough for this game, I haven't had any luck finding one.

you can google wiki + loqo and you should find the wiki. At quests is a wlakthrough.

The nerophants are in the void dungeon. To get access: every transportation crystal must be activated. Then go to the crystal sanctum and go thorugh the stone door in the north.
But nerophants are tough enemies for a low equipped team. You could also go to the minotaur dungeon (in stone valley, north of rockguard village) or the skelletons on the cursed ship (take the ship from the port where tournament and wolfgang is and sail westwards).
