You have to find the scholars (white bearded guys in blue robes), talk to them and then answer 5 questions correctly. Then you will get the items that unlock the things you are looking for as rewards. They are in almost every larger town (Egypt, Greece, Mount Falcon and Festival Island, I believe).

I played through this one when the thread first showed up, but I thought I'd go through it again. Now I have a question. I haven't used the orb of restoration , so I'm not in the game + yet. I can't remember if I can battle King Corrus in this game, or if I only meet him in the game +. I've defeated all of the other legendary monsters, but the stone is still in front of the cave in Wintero.

Anyone know for sure?

I'm pretty sure he's game+ only. The bounty hunter back in Egypt has to leave to start that quest.

She has. I talked with her at her house and I've defeated all the monsters - even the ones at the mansion of the lord, but the rock is still in front of the cave in Wintero.

There are simply no animations for those scenes. They were never drawn.
