Hell, yeah it's me again. I've gotten into AIF games lately, building up quite a nice collection based on recommendations and so on.

I'm looking for this game called "Plains of Fantasy" that I haven't been able to find on AIFG, the AIF archive yahoo group, or anywhere else by that matter. All I've found has been the same walkthrough in different places.

I do hope someone can help and I'm not being a complete blockhead when it comes to finding these games.

This may be a stupid question, but I have an adrift game here that I have to update to play on 4.0, but for some reason I can't because it's not password protected, and I can't save it because I only got the free version.

Any advise? Besides installing v3.9, I mean... If there's no helping it, I'll just install it, I guess.

Generally speaking it's not worth updating ADRIFT 3.9 games to 4.0. More often than not the update isn't perfect and there are problems.

An alternative might be using SCARE, the ADRIFT interpreter that is bundled with Gargoyle. It's not perfect, in particular it doesn't support defining the PC's name.

Personally, I just have both the 3.9 and 4.0 runners installed.

I'll install 3.9 as well then.
