I have been playing the game recently, to see the new pictures that Ariane is inserting on it. Very nice graphic work, around 35% of the images are new... some bugs here and there, but it is working fine. The strip club part is really cool to play, and the sexy scenes have very good taste. Ariane looks better than ever .
I liked the change in the alcohol issue. Girls don´t need wine or beer to go to bed with a man. Probably the underwater swimming would be better than any drink...

I just tried to play the game without any wine or beer, and it worked OK , with 3 "happy endings". Very good change.
BTW, new pictures inside the bar , during the trivia game.

My 'problem' is I don't really like the new Ariane that much... so replacing her 'old' images with 'new' ones is a bit of a sacrilege to me.

I see your point. But, being a painter and drawing teacher for many years, i think that this new Ariane incarnation is much better in terms of art, and prettier. But also, I only knew about this game recently, and saw the old images a few times. I understand that the fans that followed the game from the beginning can miss that "old self".
Changes happen everywhere. Lara Croft changed - a lot - like Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman...if you read the 60s comics and compare to those published now, there is almost nothing in common. Even the personality of the heroes have changed through the years. David Bowie also changed a lot ...

Well, there will always be the previous versions of the game . I still have some very old comic books. Flash Gordon by Alex Raymond, some huge albums. The erotic works of Guido Crepax And Milo Manara...
