New release of my remake of HentaiHighSchool

I hope many of you remember Pooolka, but if you don't, I suppose you can be forgiven. He wrote the original Simbrothel and Slave Maker, both of which have inspired excellent remakes. He was known for making rather complex games involving hentai images, and inspired a number of us amateurs. The last game he made was called HentaiHighSchool, and he didn't quite finish it. I'm remaking it, adding content and features, and changing parts I didn't like that much.

For those of you who played my earlier versions, this one isn't that much advanced (despite taking a year to get around to it). I've added buildings, and the highest level of dirty to some of the events. Feel free to point out bugs or make suggestions.

Just to be clear, and follow the rules of the board, I am the sole developer of this game, and I give my permission to distribute it.

You can have -cash and I think in the new year it vanished normally you must have more -cash.

suggestion
For the Buildings to have a Info before upgrading (the upgrading cost and the cost for each year when it is upgrated).

I don´t like to have only 2 turn to visit the buildings I like more HentaiHighSchool2 where you can visit all buildings aso I like it to have storys.

Aso to choose from beginning the teachers (I like) and not to start with 1 teacher. When I lost the Game I have 2 teacher this is not real for so many students.

Is it possible to substitute your own pictures for the ones included? I'd like to substitute for the censored ones if possible.

You can replace easily enough. Just go into the images directory, and replace any file you like. Just make sure the name is the same. In the next version, you won't be able to do this, but go for it for now. If you have a decensored version of anything in the game, I'd love to replace it in the official version.

Very nice game! Didnt notice any bugs except the overspending in money (you can end up in minus).

What is the criteria for winning? I won but dunno why

Easier I think than previous version.

I found teacher part far better, but I miss all students clubs. Some were really funny and hard to keep well.

I found there are less differents events with choice than on previous versions.

Definitly fun to play, but I still prefer older version.

I may be simply stupid, but I do not see how to get anywhere without losing game. Please advise?

I have a Mac, so many downloaded games doesn't work in my computer. Can I use this one? And, if the answer is positive, how can execute it?

For macs you need a converter program to run .rar files, unless you've got an Intel mac AND you're running it in the PC environment.

I haven't found any converter programs that are cheap/free that work with independent files/games. Most of the programs are specific to major programs like Excel or Quickbooks.

Aight, first off, I didn't see many noticeable changes since your last version, with the exception of the building dialogue box, which is nice. As Dole mentioned, having the prices for each upgrade listed would be wonderful.

As for the rest of the game, you stripped out things I liked, such as upgrading to better schools and having all the teachers at once. Also, I'm not sure why you stripped out the various endings, unless you plan to add new ones later.

Right now the balance seems pretty tipped towards a more difficult playstyle. I found myself more concerned with making a meager profit each year than looking at the various scenes. As it stands right now, you really need some fortunate luck to even have a chance at fully upgrading the school. I'm actually not sure if that's even possible.

As I said, one of the traits I liked about the original HHS was to be able to upgrade your school and starting bonuses through multiple playthroughs.

Please, do keep working on this, but for the next version I hope to see a lot more added.

For those having trouble understanding the mechanics. You have 20 years to make the school as profitable and/or sexy as possible. To make more money you need to increase the school's Reputation, which will bring in more students, providing you revenue to work with.

I completely agree with the comments about the buildings not really describing their upgrades or costs well, and I've changed that. I'll release that with other changes soon.

The negative money isn't a bug. You are not allowed to spend yourself below 0, but events can force you there. As long as your next year's budget will cover the shortfall, you will be fine (albeit, poor). If you can't cover it, the government zeroes out your account for you, and you lose some reputation. There should be a statement about this at the beginning of the year if you can't make budget. If that statement isn't there, we've got a bug.

As for other content, things like clubs, endings, extra schools, and all those neat things that make later playthroughs easier, they are coming. This isn't a stripped-down version of the original, but a complete rewrite. I am not reusing the original source. It's pretty difficult to get far right now because it will only become easier as I add new content types.

And the reason you won was that you finished. A very boring ending indeed, but a sad side-effect of being a work in progress.

I agree to the guys in front of... but i really like the idea, how you switched some stuff and to get more teachers over time is also a great idea...

maybe you can enhance this, some suggestions:

- You can buy teachers or your reputation will have some influence to recruit them
- The enhancement of school like in the old version (green dots, red dots... etc.) maybe you have an idea to get a compareable way to build them in
- because its important how much students you have... maybe a possibility to make advertisment for your school
- like the random effects of cloth.. maybe you can buy schooluniforms or something like this

have much more ideas... because i am not familar to programming i dont know how much work is behind that...

as i remember, the first version of this game was containing some interactions with the teachers.. i mean there were stories about them.. are you planning to do that again for the upcoming game?
