I have also been using glulx for playing the game and found it very annoying you couldn't scroll back like in TADS. But I found another great program that allows scrolling back to see pictures. It's called gargoyle and it also supports more file formats, at least I think. Here's the link. Click on the left side for windows, mac or even ubuntu.



The bad thing is you won't be able to continue your glulx saves.

Nice one, This was annoying me too - not just for pictures but for wanting to look at room descriptions again. Gargoyle seems to run much faster and smoother, id recommend anyone to play it on this.

You actually need to go east rather than west towards the bull. After he scene in the east field (note the field isn't mentioned in the info when you arrive) you can pick up the prod and deal with the bull.

I'm stuck a bit further in on same day

In a corridor in the base with 2 doors. One is a guardroom with sOmeone who rips your arm off, other room is instant death. Can't work out what to do.
