Some interesting observations and a question.
1. I still can't get out of the pictures on IE7 but on Firefox (just downloaded, I can increase the window and get to the bottom tool bar.

2. Has anyone seen Women's Murder Club on US Television (ABC)? Remarkable how two of the lead actresses (Angie Harmon and Laura Harris) resemble Ari and Reb in that order.

3. OK, it appears as if getting Ari & Reb together for keeps requires the white dress. I thought I could just track where the dress pieces were but they appear to be random. How can I consistently get the white dress?

4. Last but far from least, Erana, thanks for the bug fixes -- appear to have resolved any problems I was having aside from my own poor skills).

1) Out of the laptop issue, there's nothing I can actually do without screwing up the other image maps, but as cowboy said, you can just backspace away. (Doing that at other places of the game causes unexpected results as the variables can take values they aren't supossed to have, but in this particular case there's no such trouble. The only variable set by the laptop is wether you have actually asked about a certain pic (hint hint), and that can cause no problem in the game because that variable is checked exactly once in the entire game). So let's make this the oficial bugfix

3) Have you noticed, when it's crazy all-nighter time, you can keep going to the stores repeatedly until you get the dress? (You might want to check the other outfits you can have in crazy time, too - I'm surprised nobody commented about them!)

4) Good to know that my own poor programming skills finally were enough.

I think it's an IE7 issue not yours -- very happy using Firefox.

OK, what I don't seem to have found is crazy all nighter time. I have dinner, go to the bar, have a drink,go home and take a swim, back to town -- go to the lingerie store -- go back to the bar w/Reb -- dance w/Ari, buy a round, Ari & Reb dance and do thier thing -- back to the house, Marco Polo and either Reb leaves or, if I cut Marco Polo short, they hang together and there's no way out -- it's over.

True, true -- maybe I need to learn HTML

Ya can't avoid accidentally "winning" with a different dress on two guesses right away, but if your first two guesses don't win, you can avoid that accident later by first picking an unknown rack, then if you don't get part of the white combo, you can go back and click the rack with a known non-matching clothing to avoid a match. Any selected clothing component picked from the OUTER racks (far left, far right) has a match somewhere in the INNER racks (2nd and 3rd rows), so make sure you pick them that way to avoid losing by getting two tops or two bottoms.

Have you noticed that most of the add-on changes are made by giving you alternate options for things that ended poorly in the original game? You might want to read some of the scenes that other people have mentioned in the first two pages, and explore them in alternative ways. The relevant scene is mentioned in the readme's source code as "vastly expanded". Also, to get the "perfect" ending you need to do something else added to buying the dress; also hinted at in the same file, "New pics added to..."

Or you could overuse the Mario jokes. Italian food + plumbing = ultimately acting like if you had had a magic mushroom too many.

(And the funny part is that this way of getting her in the correct place, mood AND dress came right in the original game!)

Do you mean that now it doesn't work? If so, simply restore everything from backup and try again (read my answer to LeeJay in page 1 of this thread for added witicisms about backups and such) For more computer humorous advice, just google the word "RTFM" (having the screen name of a Good character, I always read the F as "fine") and you'll have (a good laugh and) a good head start in the path to computer wisdom

This time, be very sure to read and follow the instructions in the readme.htm file from the add-on.

If the matter is that you don't know how to install the add-on, it is explained in that file, too.

Relax. Everyone starts as computer ignorant. You should see the mess I made the first time I used a computer...

Only the kitten-wrapped, longish-named "virtually dating Ariannab Erana’s add-on walkthrough.txt" file and the readme.htm that comes in the add-on zip. I see no point in repeating in the walkthrough how to install the add-on. I mean, if you don't have it already instaled, what are you doing knee-deep in cat fur reading walkthroughs?

I have the add-on installed. I guess I was expecting a more detailed step-by-step walkthrough I keep trying all kinds of combinations but I can't seem to get to the beach to activate crazy mode. Either we do the romantic walk and things go the same as the original version, or she ends up wading in the lake, which never ends well. I've done the photoshoot at the fountain, gotten the white dress, picked up rebecca, gotten the picture (not in that order), looked at the laptop pics, but I can't seem to get the right combo in the right order.

Thanks to Erana for the creatrivity, thanks to Cowboyblob for the hints. Got them home and enjoying dual sex, found the wild and crazy night. Need to do some more exploring to see what else might be there.

A couple of thoughts. Once, he gets them back why dooes Ariane still object when he goes after Rebecca in the pool (Marco Polo) and why does Rebecca still leave if he goes after Ariane? Might be interesting to have some variations on that theme.
