After you do something as simple as adding the pictures to Camping Trip or SD2, you'll gain a whole new appreciation of the amount of work that went into creating those games.
I added pictures of real porn stars to those two. I contacted Goblinboy so I could add pictures with those same models to SD3. There are over 700 pictures that needed to get added. If I ever finish loading them all, I might get brave and actually look at that information ExLiris talked about. I know what a hard time I'm having just editing the pictures, creating code seems out of reach. I can't image I would ever possess the skills to put something like Ghost together, let alone anything in this series.

While coding interactive fiction looks intimidating, you can actually learn how to do basic things pretty quickly, and TADS and Inform in particular have a lot of documentation available to help explain how to do the more advanced things.

Another resource is Inside Erin, the AIF newsletter which has regular articles on writing and designing AIF. The forums at aifgames.com are also a good place to ask questions.

The AIF community also runs a minicomp each year, which is specifically intended to help new authors get their feet wet.

I need a little help with the daydreams. And actually, while I'm here, something else too. First of all, I followed the walkthrough (the one at the yahoo group) and it says daydream about Mrs Stevens until you get two bonus points, then keep going until she's flashed you three different ways and something else will happen. So I did that, and got invited to her bedroom. It then says go to Mrs. Johnson and keep daydreaming about her until you get a bonus point, then, if you're extremely patient, keep going for a second. It then adds that if you don't get a dream of them together you missed one with Stevens.

Well I have been extremely patient with Becky's mum, daydreaming many many times and seeing her scenes many times over each, and nothing seems to be happening beyond the first bonus point. I'm not getting any dream about the two mums together, and Mrs Johnson keeps saying I'm making her uncomfortable etc. I assumed I must have done all the dreaming possible with Stevens, since I got the three bonus points and got to sleep with her. Is it really possible I missed one, if I got that far? Or otherwise, what is going wrong and preventing me from getting the dream with both of them? If she says you're making her uncomfortable does that mean you're on the wrong track?

The other point is merely a question about endings. I haven't read this ENTIRE thread as it is now 20 pages, but I've read most of it. The walkthrough says there are supposedly 8 endings, but the author has only found 4. I have gotten those four (Becky alone, Molly to yourself, Becky and Molly, and the sort-of ending with Alison.) I'm just wondering if anyone else has found these alleged extra endings? (And if so, of course, include some hints on how to get them).

Junkman-You may have missed one daydream with Mrs. Stevens. It helps if you type 'bonus' and see where you have gotten your bonus points from to know what you have missed. And that will tell you if you got all of Mrs. Johnson's daydreams. Even if it says you got the bonus point from Mrs. Stevens, there is one more daydream after that.

I'm not sure, but you may have to make sure your 'limits' are set to allow all, because some of the daydreams involve mother + daughter (incest).

You get one bonus point from seeing 8 out of the 9 daydreams of Mrs. Stevens, and one bonus point when she takes you into her room when you've seen all of her 'flirts' (basically the flirts are when you get 2 pictures, 1 picture from the daydream itself and 1 picture from the flirt).

The daydreams of the two together don't happen until you've seen the 8 daydreams of Mrs. Johnson, and the 9 daydreams (not 8) of Mrs. Stevens.

Mrs. Johnson daydreams:

The endings really depends on how you go about counting them. Does getting 'nobody' count as 1 ending, or more? Because of all the minor text changes based on their exact feelings towards you and what you did to make them not like you, there can be alot more than 11 endings. Whether or not Mike/Gary join in on you and Molly (or you+molly+Becky) doesn't affect the ending. If Gary gets Molly, there is text changes based on whether or not you leave the party before he took her virginity, after he took her anal virginity, and whether or not you did anything with her while she was unconcious.

Endings:

1. Molly to yourself (with or without anal, and with or without Gary+Mike or Mike)

2. Becky to yourself (at her house)

3. Molly + Becky (with or without anal, and with or without Gary+Mike or Mike)

4. Alison (at the party), have sex with her enough to get her picture at the ending.

There are slight variations in text based on Molly/Becky's exact feelings about you, and there is some differences in the ending picture for Becky, and possibly Molly based on whether or not you had sex with them often enough, and in enough different ways.

'Nobody' endings, but variations on how you can go about getting it:

'Rape Molly', so you die in prison (supposedly can also be done with alison too, but I'm not sure where)

Melissa + Mike (threesome with them at the party, but you get nobody for the 'ending')

Gary doesn't go to the party, and Molly doesn't like you enough to want you sexually, and Becky doesn't either so you get nobody.

Get alison at the party, but then ruin it with her by having sex with unconscious Molly.

Alison (blackmail her for sex, including anal, so you get banned from the party, and both Molly and Becky absolutely hate you).

Drank too much at the party that you pass out so you miss the orgy and ruin the endings with all the girls. (it's also possible to drink enough that you are 'unable to perform' during the orgy, but that doesn't affect the ending unless it prevents you from being able to have sex with someone in enough different ways)

Thankyou Bams, for that very detailed reply. I checked it all, and I had in fact all ready had all of the dreams (though I went through again from the start, to be sure). I have now had the first of the dreams with them together, so I think I'm sorted. You know what the problem was? Nobody mentioned that the threesome dreams only happen when you're daydreaming about Mrs. Stevens; I dreamed about her first, and was trying to get the extra dreams while in the company of Mrs. Johnson.

And I guess I have pretty much done all the endings then, was just hoping there was something I'd missed. I did find it a little odd that no matter how nice you are to Becky there is no group scene with her and Mike and Melissa, even if just in the same room.

Being a curious mind there is a few little things i picked up while playing this though.

Pictures

Side note, at most stages you can look at a girls breasts or such by just typing "look at Alison's ..." this gives a close up, also using x all is handy as it looks at everything in the room

Useful commands to see pics and open up other avenues are

for you its just unzip pants or such... for girls we have

Unbutton Shirt, Jeans
Lift Skirt, dress
Remove Bra, Remove panties, Remove shirt, Remove top etc

Cinema
Molly
If you have a play about with various ideas you can get rewarded with some pictures you may not have seen.... eg if you take molly to cinema for last date (and have 2 previous dates which went well) then you can get her to give you a blow job (picture) a hand job (might be a pic, cant recall) or you can rub her pussy etc (no pic).Molly will go for a drive with you after, again 3rd date you can do more, oddly you cant remove her shirt but you can unbutton it and remove her bra and get a tit**** *shrugs* and lower her jeans so you can lick her out.. also this is where you can Rape Molly To do this you just get her in the back seat of car (i guess any date would work) and type rape molly, it will ask you if your sure, type it again and you rape her, no pictures or such, she runs off and then things seem to proceed as normal.. i even had her be nice to me next day... but when you start class the police come and its game over (no way out of this) i tried the "rape" command on the other girls but it either says its too public a place or in becky's case "shes already willing"

Of course as most people find, you can also get the Cinema Girl but this is generally bad as you can get caught and then you pretty much messed it up with that girl (although i did this to molly on first date once and by the end i had got rid of gary and had her to my self at party)

Again with molly things work more on 3rd date, so you can get a handjob (picture) or blow job etc

Same again, you can do most things with her on any date... try different ideas, removing various parts of clothes etc.

Again 3rd date with molly, any time with becky you can get various pictures, experiment with removing various items of clothing for slightly different pictures (works for orgy at end too with the girls)

Side note with molly, on 3rd date day if you go to her room and sit on her bed then stand up you can get her to give you a blow job, its a repeat picture though and i think its a bug

I have read there is 11 endings, i can prob account for 9 and maybe 1 or 2 variations on top of that. One ending i got but never seem to get again is where you see Charlotte, Molly, Becky, Melissa and Alison all pregnent stood next to each other... i think i know how to get it, but i been busy trying to figure out other endings... i will try list them for reference

I think how i did it was you go for the Molly + Becky idea, but make sure you do everything with Melissa, Do Charlotte and make sure you do Alison and Yuki .... maybe it was 6 girls, cant remember

The "5 girls preggers" scene isn't actually a scene, it's a bonus picture you get at the end of the game if you've had sex with all six of the girls (Molly, Alison, Melissa, Becky, Charlotte and Yuki)

The largest group scene that's actually in the game involves five people (and one bystander): the PC, Molly, Becky, Mike and Gary

re the cinema girl, it's only really bad if you're with Molly, as Becky will forgive you on day 4 whatever you've been up to during the preceding three days

re the pictures you can find in various bedrooms, there are a large number of Alison Angel pics scattered throughout the game and finding them all earns a bonus point (though I don't think you can currently get it due to a bug)

There aren't really distinct endings as such, but there are some different possibilities for the final scene
Becky (you can end up exclusive with her, or just with her)
Molly (you can have sex with her alone, with her and Becky, with her and Mike (can't remember if Gary joins in if he's there), with her, Becky and Mike, and with her, Becky, Mike and Gary)
Alison (you have sex with her at the party, then she either hints at a possible relationship or shoots you down (either because you haven't pleased her or you've had sex with her mother, and of course Alison will dump you immediately if you have sex with Molly while she's unconscious)
No one (ie you don't go to the party and Becky hates you)
Mike/Melissa (if Molly picks Gary and Alison isn't at the party)
Jail (if you've raped either Molly or Charlotte)
