Or watch Arnulf's video walk throughs. You do not even have to click to progress. You can use both hands.

These games have nice art but for me they are damn near impossible. I've tried 4 different girls about a dozen times each and nothing seems to work. Incredibly frustrating. Closest I get is getting one of em to strip in the rain, then they want to leave. I'm just a casual gamer, so these I guess just aren't my type of thing.

I wish these games had a little more adventure to them. Alot of the games simply break down to flagging certain things to get enough accomplishments to hit a specific ending. I want a game where you don't simply go down a checklist of things to get done to simply get to an ending. Maybe if they were setup to occur over several days? biggest thing though is that these games need an option to save your progress in a game and a option to restart the date when you hit an ending.

I'd love the chance to learn how to make one of these games. I was looking through some old notes on how he made the games, but when I saw the pricetag on just the posing software I lost a lot of hope.

It'll be interesting to see how the gameplay works when you get some competition. We'll have to see how well the idea floats after the game's release.

There's no need to start off with the expensive software like Poser or even the full Daz suite. Try the free version of Daz3d, it's a full piece of software with no time limits. It just lacks some of the features of the paid for versions.

You can also get some of the basic models, Vicky/Michael etc. for free, and the forums have a "freepository" where you can find lots of other free content created by fellow users. I think I spotted the excellent Foberginhi in Sharks new game (am I right Shark?).

If you enjoy rendering, and can afford it I reccomend joining the Platinum club there. It costs $100 for a year's membership, but part of that is $5 of free purchases each month, on top of a 30% discount on all their products. Between the various discounts and vouchers I had at the time I got the full version af Daz3D Advanced for about $15-$17.

I love it, although I can't compose a scene for toffee. I really dig messing about with different lighting and effects. I'll happily post a few images I've got if folk are interested.

My main point is don't be frightened by the prices charged by a lot of places. You don't need Photoshop CS to edit your holiday snaps, and you don't need Maya to make some fun and funky renders. More affordable stuff is out there, try it and enjoy it.

I try to pay attention to most of the Chaos related threads here in this forum and it seem that one topic keep popping up, and that is about the gameplay in Chaos's games. What you guys gotta remember is that before he started with the Virtual date Crystal game he had never done anything like this before. If you have taken the time to follow the debate and read on his forum you would know that the goal for him in the end is to make much larger and advanced games. He might have shot himself in the foot a little bit with beeing so productive as he have, because it's no doubt at all that he is a very creative person. Don't get me wrong, because I love the fact that he is, however the danger is in beeing so that people get used to it, and raise their expectations. That was a very long sentence, however I made it so as when you encounter a long sentence you read slower. ( some free psycology for the masses )

However there is one thing that all of you shouldn't forget, and that is the simple fact that making games is alot of work. When you got no training and learn as you go as Chaos is doing, you gotta give him time. I am convinced that not to far from now in the future his games will surpass the complexity and myriad of choises that you find in ArianneB's game.

If you are starting to get a feeling that I am defending Chaos because I admire him, you are damn right. I got alot of respect for his work, the same respect that I got for all the active game creators here on this site. I can count the other simular games in this genre that you don't have pay to play using my fingers on one hand.

For those of you that didn't bother reading through my entire post I can give you the short version of the message in my post here :
"Stop moaning like an ungratefull little brat about a game you get to play for free and be happy. If you got critisism write him a mail. Sit down and try to make a game yourself and see if you can do any better before starting bitching. "

Allrighty then and now to something entirely different....

Tjommi, your words also parallel my feelings about Shark's work.

Within "Sexy Games" (see button at sharks lagoon ) there are currently 25 games, and it's not too hard to see the evolution of Shark's craft.

When we offer criticism of Chaotic, Shark and Pusooy (and those comments do apply to him) please respect their accomplishment and be constructive with your evaluations.

And Tjommi your emboldened summary is 'spot on'! Excellent!

I think that as an author, Chaotic might like to see _constructive_ criticism of his games. After all, he needs feedback from his users, if only to be able to see what's popular and what's not. I know that I would.

But, of course, I can't speak for him.
