YAY I can post now!
Well I'm new here and this is the first AIF game I've played. I have played a "Mature IF" I guess you could say though. Sadly I'm old enough to remember when DOS was the primary OS and you had to start windows manually. Said game was Eric the Unready, and you can find it on abandonia.com.
With that game in mind there were features I was wondering about. Does Adrift 5 support text suggestion windows? Not sure how else to describe it, but here is a pic in which I covered the picture as it would technically be copyrighted. (click the link for a larger image)

Edit: I retract my question about which command lines work. You can now click the thumbnail for a larger image. TY.
Back to the matter at hand! As you can see there are windows to give you hints as to what you can say/do/type. As you can see, the left hint window has actions and the right has objects in current location that you can interact with. The compass at the top would be a nice addon as well. You can also type just about anything you can imagine. A good chunk of it has been thought of by the creators, and their responses are priceless!
BTW, I started the game yesterday, and read through the whole thread. I've played through day one several times to figure things out, and have a near complete day 1 walkthrough. I'll post it on the walkthrough page when done, but I'll post it here first (under spoiler tags) so those of you who know the game best can let me know what I've missed. It would be done, but by the time I got to the end of the first night I was so... um... hot, I could not focus on copying my selections over to WordPad.

Also I'm going to try some conversation items earlier and see when best to put them in.
Cheers on the excellent game!
