Hi Arnulf, I only can play the downloaded online-version. I've my problems with the updatig, even though you gave a descrïption on 30/07/2008. Bin halt a Preiß und nicht so fit mit die coputers.

Wollen mal sehen, wie wir Dich aufs Pferd bringen:
Dein Spiele-Ordner, so wie Du ihn heruntergeladen hast (als Zip-Datei und dann extrahiert) enthält 2 Dateien und einen Ordner. Eine Datei ist eine Textdatei (readme), eine Datei "index.htm", mit der Du das Spiel startest, und der Ordner (dateariane), der enthält einen Ordner "images" und eine Menge *.htm Dateien. In der heruntergeladenen UP 13 Rar-datei, die mit z.B Winrar extrahiert werden kann, befindet sich unter Anderem ein Ordner "all-in-one-Update 13 (oder so). Jetzt öffnest Du diesen Ordner , öffnest den darin befindlichen Ordner "DATA" und kopierst alle darin befindlichen htm-Dateien in einem Schritt in den dateariane-Ordner Deines Spieles. (Bei geöffnetem Explorer markiere den gesamten Inhalt des DATA-Ordners, rechts-klicke auf eine beliebige Datei und ziehe den Cursor mit dem Paket auf den Dateariane-Ordner. Nach dem Loslassen gibt es ein Pop-up Menü, wähle "Kopieren" und wenn der Computer nachfragt, drücke auf "Ersetzen" - vorher wähle in diesem Fenster das Kästchen "ja, alle". Jetzt machst Du deh Ordner "IMAGES" auf und markierst alle (BILD)-Dateien und kopierst diese so wie vorher in den "images" Ordner Deines Spieles. FERTIG!

Danke Arnulf! Werde erst am Wochenende die Zeit haben, das auszuprobieren. Da ich meine Festplatte mal wieder leermachen musste, muss ich auch das Original-Ariane-Spiel erst wieder runterladen und das dauert!!!

Park & Basketball - I've tried every combination but cannot even get an option to take a walk to the park or the basketball scene as well. I've got the 5.0 codeline on my PC. Any help/clues are appreciated!

to take a walk in the park either before dinner or after dinner then click on the front of the house on the glass windows that lead into the living room.

but the screen says "go to living room". It doesn't say to "take a walk". When I click there, it just takes me back to LR. Any thoughts?

Take your cursor a little bit lower than the glass doors and see what it says. If you already went to the park, you cannot go a second time.

There are multiple variations. The fun is in experimenting to know what works and what doesn't.

ex.: intro/compliment looks/something smart/etc.

All I get is "living room".

Are there specific steps to take for the introduction?

I'm doing the following:

intro/something funny/compliment/kiss on cheek/rub hair/radio/jazz/kiss/soft rock/kiss/neck/someplace else/

OK, for some reason I re-downloaded 5.0 and re-installed on my PC and now it is there... very very weird. Thanks for the help!!

Let's make "nails with heads". The intro is your choice until you run your fingers through her hair. Dance with her, soft rock, kiss her, kiss her on the neck, then you can click on "go somwhere else". You'll see the map of the house and now you can click on the glass door on the bottom of the picture and choose "go for a walk", you can have your fun with Ari in the park showing you her gym skills. If you not take the adventure to go for a walk, you can go in the kitchen, drink one or two glasses of wine, go to the backyard, sit and look at the stars, give the correct answer and wait for the steaks, have a dinner inside, talk, compliment, drink and go somwhere else. now Ari is standing in the living room and you can click on the glass door and "go to the park". Ari will carry her basketball with her for the basketball fun in the park. If you try it as I told you, it should work. A Few minutes before I've checked all these steps and it worked for me. But If you want to undertake more with our friend Ari, you can download and install UP 13, then you can do both, going into the park for gym and immediately go again for basketball, There are a lot of more surprises in the game then.
