Go to the game on PF1. Scroll down looking for toto45's comment. It is a walkthrough.

I'm annoyed by this. I know, Phreaky and I released the games for free, and we haven't minded mirror sights or other people hosting them. But I think the guy should have asked us first before recreating them for a phone store. I'd be really annoyed if he was selling them.

Yes, in a world where for profit things are pirated, there's little I can do about people pirating my free stuff. But the guy is still a thief.

Long time lurker here. Normally I wouldn't post but this type of thing really pisses me off. There is actually alot of money to be made on these micro games for iPhone and Android and someone stealing your work and selling it for a profit is a piss off for me.

My suggestion would be to email Google or whatever company owns this specific marketplace about it and explain the situation, they may not be able to help but at least you'll have that email on record later. Then maybe look at releasing a free version of the game yourself on Android just to zero the guys profits out. In the future to avoid this you maybe just do a free PC release and look at doing a Android port yourself and selling it for like $1.00 each. Apparently the cash for these things is pretty good.

Tlaero, where do you stand in terms of "intellectual property"?
Sure this is not the league of MS v Apple, but ..... well it's worth an ask.

I strongly second the suggestion that you at least alert the appstore to the fact that this guy is illegally using your intellectual property.

Thanks folks, but I really don't have a legal leg to stand on. I anonymously uploaded something to a website. In today's world, that makes its theft almost guaranteed. I think his actions are lame, but proving that I created the property while staying anonymous would be more challenge than it's worth.

As for complaining to Google, that would be like asking a child molester to babysit. I doubt there is anyone anywhere that makes more money from the outright theft of intellectual property than Google does.

While I can't really argue that your chances of gaining any sort of restitution isn't slim to non-existent (although you won't know which unless you try), this situation does beg the question of why *anyone* would choose to produce any sort of game when in all likelihood it's going to be immediately ripped off.

I'm not a specialist in laws or Interntet rights, but I think you should register your future games under a Creative Commons license (http://creativecommons.org/). It allows you to remain producing free stuff, but I think it protects your creations from acts of piracy like this one.
