You can also discover which room Tammy is in (if you haven't already asked Mickey or Kelly). I did encounter a weird bug when doing that where if I took the keys and then opened and read the book I didn't have the keys any more.

No, I don't think so. I have not yet found a way of taking any photos of Ellie during day 3 if you wait until day 3 to photograph Jenny. Ellie seems to not appear in the library after classes and there is not enough time during the mid-day break. On day 4 you lose the camera, but you can get the sex scene on day 4. I think Ellie needs the knowledge that Jenny has been photographed before she will show all.

Actually the easiest way to get that ending is not to do anything. Just get up, go to class, go home, go to sleep. Repeat. Takes maybe 15 minutes.

I think it's pretty evident from what she says that Ellie basically follows Jenny's lead in everything. There are some indications that she was attracted to James prior to the game, but she also mentions having sexual dreams about him recently which sounds like the alien's work.

Eg.
Living room action > living room in game pictures > bedroom camera pictures.
Bedroom action > bedroom in game pictures > living room camera pictures.
