I had done that uninstall already but since you suggested it I tried again. I went to control panel and uninstalled the RGSS Player again (it was the new version 1.04, not the old one I had previously uninstalled) and then searched for all of the old setup1 and setup2 files that the old version made and deleted those. I then tried to run the new episode I-II and got the message "can't find RGSS102E.dll". That told me I had successfully uninstalled both old and new RGSS Player versions. I then reinstalled the version that came with the Episode I-II download and tried to run the game again. But I still get the same "RGSS Player has quit running" message and no game screen. I then went back to my old Episode I version and was able to still get it to play. Can't figure out what I'm not doing right!

Thats weird, unfortunetly i dont really know what to do then. I had some RGSS.problems as well, but after uninstall -> install new and restarting my computer, the game worked.
Have you tried googling "RGSS102E.dll", looks like it got something to do with the RPG Maker more then RGSS. Either try a reinstall of RPG Maker, or try and download the missing dll and see if it will work. If you get a new error-message after downloading, its probably your RPG Maker that is corrupt.

I've tried everything without any success. I went to the second download site (rapidshare) and downloaded the game from there. Used Winzip instead of IZip to unzip it. Reinstalled the RGSS and tried to run the game. I still get the same error message.
Looks like I won't be playing this version.

Hm..

When you uninstall, make sure that the registry keys are removed as well.

Also, are you running the EXE in XP compatibility?

If so, try running the installer in XP compatibility as an administrator.

Not being a Windoze user or a fan of LoQOII I am unaffected by your problems, blevins29, but out of concern for a fellow lagooner I decided to google for a possible answer to your dilemma. I finally got it to work by closely reading the "manual" that was part of the download. Near the bottom of the manual was a section entitled "Advanced Fixes - Allow gameplay on Vista/Windows 7". I followed the 5 steps in order to exclude the RGSS file from the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) part of my Windows 7. Evidently, newer versions of Windows 7 (I got mine as a Christmas gift) sees this program as a virus and refuses to let it run.By adding the RGSS file to a list of excluded files, DEP does not check it and allows it to run. I hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.

-2 at entrance to Shaabera Palace
-2 at the entrance to Totville (if you teleport with the crystal head down)
-2 at the entrance to Duchess mansion
-1 in the upper level of the Outpost

Use your arrow keys when choosing who to hit, you dont have to hit the hero

Basement when I go through the single gene says Kai:


"...what I thinking teh hell?"



I can ´ t face a powerful foke like E. BA. "on my own"

I don't know what I am doing wrong or have forgotten. Can someone help me there?

Aren't you supposed to go to Castle Conquest? That building that looks lika a mansion south of the Guild of Heroes?!
