Redemption for Jessika (En, Sp, Fr, It, Ge)

I've got to ask. Even registered for that.
Are similarities between Jessika and Canary accidental? Also between Miranda and Tattletale, I guess?

I'm more into Marvel than DC, although I like Batman and will read anything written by Gail Simone, so I've read some Batgirl. I don't recognize Canary, but I know of "Black Canary." I assume that's someone different since her power seems to be a frequency-controlled screech. I've never heard of Tattletale. I guess you'd say any similarities are accidental. Of course, there's nothing terribly innovative about a power to influence people with singing. That goes back to the Odyssey.

Incidentally, if Miranda has a power, it's not what you folks think it is. You don't have enough information to understand what's going on in the scene she's in ... yet.

It's from Worm by Wildbow. Thing is, not only Canary has the same power as Jessika and is a popular singer as well, but her problems also started with a concert and a dickish boyfriend, although to an entirely different effect of course. So it's kinda funny that it's accidental.

I'd like feedback on what you think of the mechanics of the final Marc and Jess sex scene vs the others. Set aside the positions, graphics, writing, intensity, etc. In this case, I'm not looking for "I wish it was kinkier" or "I really wish they did <your favorite sex act>". What I want to know is whether or not you liked the "reach, rub, retract" animations. As in, you click on a breast and you see an animation of his hand moving to her breast, it rubbing the breast, and then moving back when you let go of the mouse. This is compared to the other sex scenes where you click on a breast and you jump immediately to a page where his hand is on her breast (maybe animated, maybe not).

I liked it, I think it worked well and the animation was pretty smooth. I think it relates well to hand commands, and might have been cool in the deep throat part of the BJ scene. It would also be nice if you could skip the animation without missing the action. So you get a still image if you don't want the animation.

Did the "reach, rub, retract" add to the game? Detract from it? Not really matter one way or the other? Where you thinking, "Wow, that's really cool, I wish they did more of that"? Or was it, "Waiting for these animations is a waste of my time, I wish they didn't do them?" Or somewhere in between? Should Mortze and I be thinking of ways to do more of this kind of thing, or should we stick with the older ways?

To be honest i'm not sure if it made much difference, that said I think it's important to introduce new mechanics and try to keep things fresh. Giving it some thought I think i'd be happy to see it again. amd there is some good potential for it to work with other sex acts. Might also have been fun in the dance scene, though some may consider it a waste not to use it on sex.

As has been previously said, I thought that mechanic fit well in that scene. Jessica made it clear that after the days events she was drained so didn't want anything overly energetic. The mechanic made the player slow down and not rush ahead, in keeping with the tone. That said it wouldn't fit for all scenes, the elevator for example was very much a passionate heat of the moment thing, forcing the player to slow down then would of really jarred with the tone.

Ive always disliked the LoP games because of this "mini-game" system they use, it also detracts from sharks games. That said you didnt go down that route of find the correct body part or game over, how you did it flowed naturally and seemed to simply allow us to replay certain actions rather than wiggle the mouse over a certain body part to progress the game. While it did allow a replay of action and a small break from "click to continue" which I liked, it probably needs more done with it possibly just a few choices of hotspots, whatever you do dont make it a mini-game.

I will echo others in that the mechanic did slow the action down and would not suit other scenes, It was well placed and worked ideally for that scene.

How do you get the Round and Round and I Get Off achievements?

Round and Round - I think it requires you to be 'well rounded' by a certain point. Possibly when you get to the elevator after the club date based on the image.
I Get Off - During the conversation in which Jessica offers you a donut, tell her you are a spy.

Actually, I hated Chloe in DwE, in this game she’s a deep character, definitely worth to be explored. Mortze you rendered her sadness perfectly!

And the second aspect is their expressivity, I’ve never felt the characters of an erotic game so human. Mortze this is a huge merit of yours, the expressivity was probably what caught me most… I was there sitting on my chair laughing like an idiot at the face she just made, priceless.

Excellent work as always.

Lost the save so I can't go back and confirm but,

When I made it all the way through I did not notice any difference in results when I tried the different options for the car while calling the police. After reading the other posts here I'm wondering if I missed something. White car with the correct plate would be enough to get the police to the right spot, but these non-choice choices are my only complaint about your awesome stuff, and that's mostly on my OCD

Either way keep up the good stuff, can't wait till the next one.

It would happen before that. You need to talk with Gary about his girl in a certain way to get there.

Is anyone else having a problem with chrome and firefox? I've tested the game with those, but I made an update just before releasing it to help with future translations to other languages, and it's possible I messed something up. Also, there was a report that saves weren't working (sorry, don't remember who, I'm reading quickly before heading to work). Can you tell me more about that?

I use Edge, and if you're on a tablet, the best browsers to use are Edge or late versions of IE. Those browsers support the "pointer" interface and let you do the various mouse things with touch. But, that's a relatively minor thing. Since Chrome hasn't implemented pointer yet, I don't make very large use of it.

You need a Lewd value to be higher, I believe.

There are two points with Chloe you can get if you choose the right options when she talks to you. I had mine at 14 by the time I got the request from Gary.

Getting a last run through to get all the achievements I want to give some shout outs.

The Skunk Anansie poster in Jessika's room, nice choice. Loved seeing that band open for Rammstein.

The going to 11, nice Spinal Tap reference.

The rock references and song selections where good choices I thought.

I was glad to see more with Chloe, I wanted more of her in DwE, she just had a bad girl vibe that I liked. That end...nice.

Of all the pictures, the ones of Jessika in the elevator were awesome Mortze. Great job especially with those ones, the hair and poses of the legs I thought were very realistic.

Overall, loved the reply value here and the story was good, definitely worth the wait for story AND pictures.
