Nice little game. The graphics are outstanding, as usual, and I'm always a fan of reasonably proportioned women. :p I'm not sure what you did differently with the graphics compared to your other games, so a little explanation there would be nice.

Like others have said, this was kind of short compared to some of your prior work. I had no problems with the "chase the dot" game, though I do grow tired of the "stroke her in various places in a specific order" gameplay. I suppose eventually I will tire of chasing dots as well...

The story was kinda mediocre to me, both Rob and his wife seemed like annoying people... if anything, Rob doesn't deserve his wife.

I do look forward to your take on cyber-punk. :)

cheese101 - I thought I'd made it quite clear in my previous post without needing to be specific... Basically ANY other way would be better than the distraction of the "follow the dot" employed here.

Are you saying you really can't remember the interfaces on other games you've played?

This method seems to favour the sort of person who might visit the Louvre and spend most of their time looking at the curtains.

I equate the follow the moving ball bit to earlier devices he has used, such as the moving the ball around the cirle in his earlier games. It's an attempt to make the game more interactive for players, which, with the fewer player choices in this game, makes it more necessary in order to have the experience come across as playing a game. Not just reading a story.

My issue with such devices is that you have to pay so much attention to the ball that you don't get to pay much attention to the graphics. While it isn't original, the caress of the girls body detracts much less and seems better suited to the action. Something along the lines of what was done in the game with the girl on the subway would see a great fit. Filling up various mood bars within the same scene based on stimulating various parts of the girl.

thank you for this short fun game.
Got all endings without to much trouble. Looking forward to your next release....

P.S. Do you have any plans on adding more episodes to the adventure game that's connected to your site account?

P.P.S. What is the difference between the tori 500 game that you have shared with us for free here on this site and the version on your paysite? I tried to find info on the front page of your paysite, but didn't get particulary wiser. I am not a stranger of becomming a member to support you, but I would like more info first.

What is it with game designers?
There just has to be better ways of achieving the same goals...

kessie8yl, consider the difference between that wording and this one:
"Leonizer, I really like the high quality art in this game. It's clear that you went to a lot of trouble producing it. I don't really like the 'follow the dot' interface, though. I find that I'm not able to enjoy the art because I need to focus on the dot. I don't have any suggestions for a better way, but I'd love to see a discussion on alternatives for you to use. Anyone have any ideas?"

In reality, they say the same thing. But, I'll suggest that posts written the latter way tend to be more effective than the former.

"tlaero - Ambassador to/of 'title needed' "

I like the maturity/objectivity that you bring into your responses.

Can you say: "Indigo Prophecy" (ie "Fahrenheit"). Watching someone else play this game is completely different than playing it yourself for this very reason.

It makes NO sense to me why anyone (for any reason) would put so much time and effort into a "graphic presentation" only to distract the player, so completely, that they never see it.

Ooooo...

In response to Mimailia:

I'm wondering how you are interpreting tlaero, she was offering in context an advice that the quote might seem to suggest otherwise (well, at least to me).

Your last paragraph does however characterise my base sentiments about the need to focus upon "devices" to attain a specific goal (performance meter), but they do appear to be necessary in certain instances as a guide. How well these are managed is clearly a measure of the presenter/designer's skill.

Squeeky, I understood the context of tlaero's comment and agree wholeheartedly.

I was commenting on the "problem" - not "how to address the problem".

Sorry for any confusion! (And apologies to tlaero
if you took any offense, none was intended.)
