Not sure if I'll preorder, but I will probably buy it. Not sure if it will be any good (the "re-use" of artwork where they've split up a drawing and used zoom to create a comic-book look shown in some screenshots I dislike), but I'm willing to support erotic games that are at least decent as there's very few out there and I want there to be more.

they got some press after being removed from steam greenlight. i think it would have resulted in a lot of jokes since steam advertises everything you ever buy to everyone on your friends list

I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. It's all about the minigames, and they don't take skill, they take luck. Sometimes I win all 5 hands, sometimes 0, because my cards are just bad...

But otherwise a very solid game.

The minigames aren't the best, that's true. Also some functions for more convenience, like cancel button or maps, would be nice.
But the artworks and the girls are really amazing. Very nice pieces of art in high resolution. Also the 'design' of the girls is pleasing for me, since they are sexy, but realistic (and not with 8 pound mega breasts).
I really like it, but it has some space for improvement.

Hi everyone,

I payed for the game and downloaded it; Although I haven't yet "won" the game I believe I've gotten a pretty decent idea and grasp that I would like to share.
(To win here are the terms from the site: "Maximizing your scores with one of the four main characters allows you to win the game."

So here are my impressions....

PLOT.
The plot is to impress people, build relationships and to ultimately get the woman you want.

OVERALL THOUGHTS.
I've really never ever played or experience a game like this and I found it very creatively done and clever and found myself immersed into the mansion on occasion. The art is amazing and the little plots and interactions between the characters and between the player versus characters is very well written, mature and fun. There's a myriad of well thought out details I won't get into but they all enhance the experience. (One example being the music which sets a mood in the game amongst many other little details). Overall, It's a very well thought out game and very pleasant to play and an exciting new and refreshing experience.
The game is a point based game.
There are three sets of points the player must keep as high as possible. The first two are in regards to one of the four main women you want to seduce: (1). Intimacy (2). Attraction (self explanatory). Finally the last (3). Popularity. Popularity doesn't pertain to a woman in particular but rather pertains to everyone in the mansion liking you and wanting you to stay.

PUZZLES AND GAME PLAY.
Ahhhh! I can already hear the moans groans from previous players . To advance one MUST play the various little card games. Each card game corresponds to different things the player wants to do. For example, intimacy, chatting, small talk, flirting....all these have different card game associate different game rules. I did find the card games difficult to grasp at first but after playing several times, re-reading the mini game demo several times etc, I eventually got the hang of it. Be careful, the goal of the card games are all different! (Without spilling the beans, some games want you to MATCH the points as closely as possible as your partner and others want you to win hands only so many times etc etc).

Overall, to progress in the overall game, one must understand and master the mini card games and that can be very frustrating. As I previously stated there are several different card games to master and especially at the beginning it's quite frustrating.

SEX.
I'd say that if you're thinking of getting a box of Kleenex and whacking off, it ain't gonna happen.
However, there is a really really nice seductive build-up and just a really well written script and beautifully drawn/painted/rendered? women.
The art is very very nice and erotic and again the buildup is very nice.

TECHNICAL.
The game is very very easy to download and set-up. It loads very fast, you don't need to save, the game does it for you.
I did have the game crash on me way too many times however, I've not seen complaints from the posters above me so I'm guessing it's simply my PC (It has been acting weird over the past year and I'm guessing I'm going to have to reinstall Vista).

FINAL THOUGHTS.
Just for the experience and art and script and atmosphere alone I recommend you buy this game. I find given the experience, that its very reasonably priced

RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE DEVELOPERS AND A FINAL WORD TO THE PLAYERS
The main focus to get anywhere in the game is to win the mini card games. However, it does become very tedious to loose points over and over again. As a developer you need to put some advantage to the player otherwise, it's tedious. The only advise I can give the player is to know when to fold "quit" the card game is things are not going well and take the -1 popularity hit. However, even given that, I encourage everyone to download and experience this game/art/experience.

I love it, really high quality artwork and the minigames are challenging without being unfair. They're all based on real-world card games so the game mechanics are all perfectly fine. Loving the style of the game though, one of the best looking titles I've played. Lots of replayability too, trying to seduce each of the girls and find all the possible endings and cutscenes.
