What does the error message say (please be specific)?
If the error message is something like "Failed to create Direct3D device" it's probably the video card. The Novelty program requires graphics hardware that fully supports DirectX 9.0c.
If the error message is something else, there might be a software solution.

I guess I am one more. We have a typo. In hospital, during discussion with nurse, he asks, "I'm being releaed tomorrow?" An "s" is necessary in the word released. 8-)
