I am sorry that I speak English only very badly. 'Double Sick' - was my answer to Tlaero's and Phreky's' getting to know Christine'
It makes no difference to me in the meantime, I write my plays further in in German and translates them more friendly points in the English one.

This is in such a way, as if I make the stories / plays only for myself same.
I try next into bad English.
Who translates to us then the other plays into the German one? Nobody.
We who play to speak nobody in English them, nevertheless.
I write even comments to these plays, into bad English. OK

As opposed to many other I try to make plays same.

Es wäre vorteilhaft, wenn du dein Ding erledigen wolltest. Sonst vergeht zuviel Zeit und die User verlieren die Geduld. Auch wenn die Spiele nicht kommerziell sind, haftet ihnen so etwas wie eine Verkaufsstrategie an!

Was die Originaltexte von Spielen, geschrieben nur in englisch betrifft, ist es so, dass jeder, der sich im Internet bewegt, in Kauf nehmen muss - und auch in Kauf nimmt - in englisch zu kommunizieren. Dazu wirst du auch bemerkt haben, dass ich mich persönlich sehr weit für eine Übersetzung in die deutsche Sprache engagiert habe.

Danke für die Nachfrage, ich wollte eigentlich Beides zusammen ins Netz stellen.
Ich warte eigentlich auch noch auf Deine Meinung zu dieser zweisprachigen Geschichte von sunnyson . Siehe 'The_cottage_of_eternity'. Das war eigentlich von ihm schon für 'Double sick' angedacht. Ich würde dann beide Texte in eine HTML-Seite schreiben.

Die User verlieren die Geduld? Wie meinst Du das? Ich merke jedenfalls nichts davon. Oder hast Du andere Informationen.


Klar engagierst Du Dich sehr für die deutsche Sprache.
Hier gibt es auch Lagooner, die sich der französischen Sprache verpflichtet fühlen.

Verkaufsstrategie? Welche habe ich denn? Mal sehen wer das spielt? Ich sehe ja nur die Downloadzahlen. 2133 - schon mal nicht schlecht.

Hallo, Josefus, das Argument mit der "Verkaufsstrategie" habe ich nur verwendet, weil es mir wichtig ist, das Interesse der möglichen Nutzer deiner Spiele anzusprechen. Wenn die Anrworten und Kommentare zu deinen Spielen im Forum zu gering scheinen, dann hat das möglicherweise auch zu tun mit den Spielen selbst (sie sind einfach zu gut zu konsumieren, ohne dass man sich mit der Sprache beschäftigen muss.)

Solche Dating-Spiele sind auch meist nicht in andere Sprachen übersetzt. Chaotic-Spiele gibt es nut auf englisch, ebenso die Spiele von Tlaero und Phreaky und auch die Ariane-Datings als "Mutter" aller Spiele sind aufgrund ihrer Komplexizität nur in Englisch zu haben. Deine Spiele sind etwas Besonderes, weil es sie primär nur in deutsch gibt und daher habe ich mich dafür eingesetzt, diese auch auf englisch für die Allgemeinheit leichter zugänglich zu machen.

In jedem Fall müsste man für eine Übersetzung vom Deutschen in irgendwelche anderen Sprachen auch jemanden finden, der verlässlich in KURZER Zeit eine Übersetzung macht. Für deine Spiele habe ich das versucht, eine englische Übersetzung herzustellen (die ist auch schon längere Zeit fertig), aber um es gut zu machen, habe ich versucht, mir die Hilfe von Craban, oder neuserdings von Greebo zu sichern, das hat aber zumindest für eine SCHNELLE Überstzung nicht funktioniert. Ich hoffe, wir bekommen sie in ein paar Tagen fertig?!

Es ist nicht gerecht, mir nun zu sagen "jetzt bist du am Zug" und mir so den schwarzen Peter zuzuschieben.

Having been slaving over a few hot .html translations myself for the past couple of weeks, in the wake of the inestimable Arnulf, I would like to say that playing 'catch up' with 200+ .htmls is not an easy task! It would be best to collaborate fairly closely, if possible, over the development of any game that needs near simultaneous multi language release.

I am quite happy to translate game/story texts into English from other languages as long as there is reasonable contact with the originator for smoothing out translation anomalies and as long as it is understood that I have a life outside the Lagoon.

I am a Brit with reasonable, though not outstanding, understanding of German, French, (and American!) and with 'Double Sick' I have found that a combination of Google Translate and my own [modesty]superb grasp of the English language(!!!)[/modesty], seems to work well

I'm working for several day's at a multilingual version of Double sick. Now I need help. My english isn't sufficient.

Other languages can easily be integrated.
