Vera Blanc and the Witch of White Springs. Cross platform (playable on MAC, Linux and Windows).
Take on the role of Vera Blanc, a beautiful young woman with an extraordinary power: the ability to (sometimes) read other people's minds! Vera left a life of luxury to use her powers to work alongside former FBI agent Brandon Mackey, who currently runs a detective agency specializing in paranormal cases.
Vera and Brandon travel to a small college town near Cincinnati Ohio to investigate an unusual illness in the son of a college professor.
The game ending you get depends on choices you make. Game play includes a challenging mini-game. Vera Blanc immerses you in the world of the supernatural as you play the detective! Will you be able to solve the mystery?
This is the fourth of my Vera Blanc fan-made visual novels, based on characters in the commercially released Vera Blanc games (characters used with permission of Winter Wolves Games).
Please note that although this visual novel contains sexually explicit scenes, it is not a 'fuck fest'. I'm more into telling stories.
System requirements: A web browser that is capable of playing HTML 5. This has been tested using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera, on a PC running Windows 7. It should run on a MAC system using Safari, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome, and on a Ubuntu system using Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome browsers.
Known issues:
1. There are screen size and save/load misalignment issues with Internet Explorer 11. While the game is playable, I recommend you use another browser.
2. On a Linux system using Chrome, you might get a blank black screen. This can be fixed by telling Chrome to allow the game to set local data.
3. Depending on your browser and browser settings, save game information may disappear when you close your browser.
4. On a system running openSuse 42.1 there were issues with animations not playing in some browsers. The beta tester reported that Firefox worked, but animations would not work in konqueror, rekonq or chromium.
5. I've been told that my visual novels won't work on MAC systems using Safari browser. It should work with other MAC web browsers.
Note: Rapidly clicking to skip dialog may cause the VN to crash, or skip visuals.
