AIF games

Some of you guys are familiar with AIF games (Adult interactive fiction games,)others of you might not be. This is a very interesting genre. Some of these guys are masters at story telling. Goblinboy got some very popular games that have allready been introduced to this site among others Meteor. You find all sorts of smut here, you find little bit for everybody. Some really sick games and other very erotic, and whatever floats your boat you are bound to find something. If this sounds interesting, I think without beeing to sure that this is the best reference page to find games.

While, I'd agree that aifcommunity.org is probably the best site to find AIF games (together with the aifarchive Yahoo group), the specific page that you're referencing hasn't been updated in a while and has a lot of dead links (eg. Sir Gareth's site and Shadow Vault are no more, A.Bomire's site has moved, and so on).

aifgames.com isn't the ideal place to download interpreters either, as some of the files hosted there are out of date (eg. it has TADS 2.5.9, although the latest version is 2.5.13). You'd be best off going to tads.org, inform7.com, etc.

ExLibris, that was not what I meant in my comment. I don't follow AIF, I realise that you and a few others have discussed such issues and so I was contending that if there is a dedicated thread here (which I think there is), this is duplicating.

I don't believe there is a dedicated AIF thread, although the information the OP mentioned is duplicated in other threads.

On the first couple of pages of the forum there are large threads for Meteor and SD3, as well as threads titled "Help finding an AIF game?", "Any other AIF games?" and "Any games like SD3 or Meteor"

Ok. That clears that up. Be good to have one "umbrella" but clearly that's already too disparate.

after reading the newest aif community newsletter, i would like to give "rough landing 2" a try.
unfortunately, i can't find it anywhere. i tried google, aifgames, aifarchive, bbbens site, the aif yahoo group and a forum search here.

so maybe someone can help me out and show me the piece of internet i missed

Rough Landing 2 is only available from the Hypnopics Collective forum, which requires registration.
