I'm not so sure VP2 is tougher. It's just extremely boring. It feels like you're playing forever and not getting anywhere at all. People have the same opportunities so it can never be tougher, it's the same for everyone.
But Amazonika Rising is old school VP. It has everything I used to love about VP and a few extra details. Game owner is working hard every day to make the game more interesting. This is just the begining but I know it will be better and better because game owner is a real RPG players who loves the game (this used to be the case for VP too but I think game owner lost it somewhere).
In AR you will never succeed every crime even if you have the best IQ and the best house. It makes it fun and unpredictable. High levels will fuck up too.
VP2 has been made so tight that there is no room to move or be creative - by creative I do not mean cheating in any way. Interaction is not what it used to be in VP v1 - so many good and fun players have left because of boredom or been fedjailed because of AGB (anti game behaviour) and disrespecting staff. Still staff claim that all fedjailings are 100% fair.
I know of someone who robbed a player. A player who had apparently left the game and left all her money to be robbed and not in the bank. The robber was fedjailed for robbing someone he did not know who was. Maybe this could have been solved but with the fedjailings happening in VP no one bothers to try and get out. Because you may go from illegal money transfers (robbing a player who left) to AGB or disrespecting staff.
For me it was time to move on and start over in the game I used to love, a game that is still fresh and a game that has new features so it won't be 100% the same. Most peopel are stuck in VP because of friends or because they won't throw 12 months of playing the game away - even if they're bored to death.
AGB is expressing just the slightest bit of discontent with the game. To some staff members it seems VP has become a religious cult.
And also AR staff is just so much sexier (I am not staff I am just a puny player). Hot young women, not a bunch of boring old men
