Nocturnal Illusions

Don't know if this has ever been mentioned - an older visual novel with some extra elements included (demon/torture) that has an overall well developed relationship between the characters. Medium length novel (8+ hrs) but enough decision points to be interesting. Would like to find more free downloads of similar things...anyone?

I did play this years and years ago, it was a big share on P2P programs like Kazaa n Emule. Always preferred True Love though.

Nocturnal Illusions was one of the first hentai games I played. And one of my favorites. I think my top three of those games would be:
1- True Love
2- Nocturnal Illusions
3- Love Potion

Try Googling if you must try it. I was able to find and download it within 5 minutes with no problem --then I deleted it because I have no desire to play it!

I found one but after I downloaded it I couldn't install it because it said I needed the CD Rom to install this file. I searched a little while longer to find nothing. Does this game originally cost money to play or something?!?!?

Yes Nocturnal Illusion was released on CD for purchase. I still have the CD and box. Looking at the game box, it appears RCY America was the distributor.

Yes, yes I remember this story from years ago. What an extraordinary game.... It really blew me away!
It was obviously written by very very talented people. The writer has a profound knowledge of psychology. Furthermore, extremely well thought out twists and theories on demons, fables, and old stories. This old game really really stands the test of time.

I found this game in a CDrom, selled with a revue,, many years ago, with other "abandonware games" like "DiviDead", "Xchange", "true love" and else... It was amazing to discover all these stories and characters ... though when i was able to install it properly on my computer.
I still have "true love" and "nocturnal"game, for exemple, but can't play properly with windows 7..... many bugs, and same for nocturnal illusion: i remember maybe i have to rename the file to install ... and not sure that the graphics and sounds files can properly work on my new computer.
DiviDead was a strange and amazing game as well ...

Nocturnal Illusion (at least the version I have) is a Windows 95 game. I can run it on a Windows XP computer. Did you try running it in XP compatibility mode?

Yes i did: it's not working in XP compatibility mode on windows 7. And yes, i played all these games on windows XP computer, a few years ago.

I also could not get it to run in Windows 7, but running it on an old XP computer I am enjoying it very much. Well written erotic visual novel.
To install it read the readme file and it will help.
