The problem of malicious code is a different aspect with which we all have to contend and watch each otjher's backs. The problem here is that not all virus checkers find all viruses. This ine looked clean to me with AVG ane McEvoy......

I personally prefer to scan only suspicious files with an online scanner like the one I linked, because it gives for more reliable results (and it saves me from running a CPU hogging virus scanner... :P).
That said, some virus scanners are extremely paranoid, I know one example at my university that blocked a remote admin client (to block the server is one thing...).
In this case it might just be some scanners going off on the fact that it's a packed exe, but I prefer to be cautious and inform you people about a potential risk.

The game is, I said that already in my first post... The launcher, however, may not be.
Unless that in my effort to find a faster download I assumed the rar I downloaded was the same as yours, but given that it's both under the same (wrong) name I would think yours has the launcher too.

Hi Brain.
Normally, if Slipstone download the game from sillusions, and after put it in another site, and I'm quite sure he is not putting any virus himself, the files must be clean. Sillusions normally take care of this, in all points.
I use Kaspersky (paid and legal, by the way), extremely powerful in .exe, rar or zip files, and that also tracks launcher attacks during download. I got some cases where the files were clean, but the server sent attacks during the download (not virus really, but banners, malware, etc.)
Quite funny that Kaspersky blocked the server attacks but got the files. I don't know how they manage this but it works, and the files were perfectly clean.
Another way servers of cracked or ripped games use frequently, is to put a short-cut to their site access inside the rar, exe or zip file, that you get after download and extraction. I open it sometimes with Notepad, verify, and delete it. It will be stupid to take a risk. Anyway I always run again Kaspersky on the folder where I extract the file(s). Even in real very trusted sites I got surprises.

No Almeida...I didn't put it into another site. I looked for another site to find it where it might be free.

The game I ran was from Sillsions. I checked that it was the samre game at Adriacafe...

that is all.

No malicious software found at sillusions. Apologies if my direction to another site was a corrupted one.
