Only 16 colours and fairly difficult but absorbing.

how do I start it?

It downloads as a RAR file - I use Rarzilla to unpack. This gives me a folder called MAYE. Within this is a file with a blue icon called Maye. This is the exe file. This puts your computer into stone-age VGA mode and after a few seconds a menu appears at the bottom of the screen allowing you to start the game.
