I thought that it was a big part of this forum to get questions answered. Aren't we going to help one another if we can?

@ gpeterson Sure we help each other if we can, but not by creating tiny topic after tiny topic when there are ready made topics close enough in their intent to add our queries to.

What you are doing is adding unnecessary similar topics that mainly create an unwholesome clutter under the major heading when there are already frequented topics to do with the same subject

Might I suggest that the next time you feel tempted to start another topic, don't, before you have looked carefully to see if there is no way to piggy back it reasonably on an existing topic

I am not quite as tactful as Greebo... after you find the topic already exists READ IT!!! Odds are very good your question has already been asked and answered.
Someday you will have children instead of being one; you will rapidly learn to dislike answering the same question again and again etc...

PLEASE before you post anything else read the forum rules. They are at the top on the forum list (Introductions).

I have played this many many times and can figure out how to get anywhere with her. Does anyone have any hints? The walkthroughs they give haven't worked

Are you playing with cookies disabled, like in InPrivate/Incognito modes? That will render most of the virtual date games unplayable, even if you've downloaded them. I've also had some problems playing some of them in Chrome, so if possible use Firefox or IE to play them.

Hope that helps.

Hi guysI have had problems getting games to work on rapidshare, and if i can download them and play them I play them once and that's it. Have to start all over and hope I can get them again. It would sure help on Virtual date with Amy Redux if I could get a walthrough or at least a hint. Thank you for any help

Once you've got the files downloaded, you shouldn't need to download them again. Just click the start.html file.

If you're asking for help with Amy Redux, try being nice to her and doing things she likes to do. There are a lot of opportunities to be a jerk. Don't. (-:

Also, understand that you can sometimes click on parts of the picture. The links at the bottom of the screen are things your character "says." Clicking on the screen is for things you "do." There are a lot of places where you should do rather than say...

Those are some general hints to get you going. If you're still stuck, how about asking for a hint to get you through a rough area rather than a walkthrough? These games take forever to write. If people are just going to use walkthroughs, we could save a lot of time and make them into comic books. I personally like comic books, but we spend the extra time making games in the hope that people will take the time to play them.

Thanks tlaero and you're right about walkthroughs. I'm just frustrate because i always get stuck back at my apartment and it goes nowhere. I can't get to my office or tennis or any of the stuff menetioned in the walkthrough they give. Any hints would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

How many more new topics are you going to create for asking essentially the same question each time? For goodness sake read the site rules and just use one relevant topic instead of adding unnecessary ones on the same subject.

I have attached all of gpeterson threads from other locations so that under the rules like thoughts are kept together.

And Greebo and LRM I had noted yesterday the earlier threads and wondered how to solve. Even now there is probably a better solution.

Ah! Educate! In 1st and 2nd year High School I had a science teacher, don't know if he played golf, cricket or baseball but he was good with a yardstick! Touch your toes boy!! (He wouldn't get away with it these days, but it was effective, caused a laughs when he broke one such ruler.)
