On their forum (https://www.henthighschool.com/hhs-development/) they just said that they have been working under the hood to add multi-threading support and do a huge amount of work on the UI. This is expected in the net couple of weeks and will be release 1.07. Release 1.08 is currently planned as an event and characterization release. There's no timeline for it
