I would concur about the shadow. The military designation was a UH1(letter - model).
It has one overhead rotor and the shadow does not match the rotor placement in the drawing.
I fixed a few of those, unfortunately every pilot I met was male and, thank you lord, fully clothed.

That is definitely of the UH1(Letter) family. I've been out 29 years (9 years longer than I was in, hard to believe). I rode a UH1P from Gila Bend, Az to Luke AFB, Phoenix, Az once. I thought the thing would shake itself apart on the ground before we were airborne. And the take off was a trip, I'm not certain my stomach has caught up with my body to this day.
The first aircraft I worked was a C130A. A four engine, three blade, turboprop. They closed the base where we were stationed and I went to F4C (Phantom) aircraft. I worked every model of F4 the AF flew, and one or two Navy and Marine models during my career.
The most common C130 I saw was an E model, a 4 blade turboprop.
I've seen photos of C130s lately with 6 props. I have no idea what model that might be. Things do change.
Even the training given has changed. I was taught the basics for every aircraft instrument system in the inventory in 1970 and was expected to repair a malfunctioning system on whatever landed on the base where I was assigned. I worked and repaired countless different airframes including the UH1P. Today they don't teach you shit! And you only work the one airframe; the one you were given on-the-job-training for. Again I say things change, not always for the better!

In a reply to LRM's last post. Lou it was my experience (US Navy Retired) that they certainly short changed those that joined the AF, when I joined the service in '63 all branches did a good job in training the personnel, but that slowly went down hill, By the time I retired "they" had me develovepe a curriculum for a 24 week course from the normal 48 week course, if you still re-enlisted for 6 more years.
