Luckily it was not a complaint. It appears you guys are downloading more of my stories than my host can (or wants to) accomodate. So does anybody have any suggestions for this amatuer?

Is the host's problem to do with bandwidth? You mentioned something about that a little earlier.
Would it help if you released a chapter at a time, like one every 3,5 days, once a week?

Rapidshare (and similar) are limiting as only a small number of downloads are allowed and then we have expiry.

Wonder? Would your host be prepared to accommodate some form of advertising (agreeable to you and the host) on your site, you'd pass the benefits over to maybe open the bandwidth?

Then too there is the search for an alternative host agreeable to your content, and at your favoured subscrïption.

Jane wants to know where and when?
I am wondering just how important it is to a visitor to my site to be able to download the stories. I note that none of the stories here in the Contributions section of the Lagoon can be downloaded. I think a poll is called for here.

As LRM said, downloading does not have to be an issue, and I see no need for a poll. As to volume of traffic regarding visiting and downloading, would that not be pretty much the same? (other than of course where one may read first and then download after).

I have the feeling that to hold something at Rapidshare (etc) for a lengthy period, allowing to all-comers, there is a subscrïption which may also be depend on the volume to be stored.

Squeeky, Jane's passport is still valid. She got it on her 18th birthday and it doesn't expire for another 11 years. She said if you pay her way she will come to you and read the stories.

The poll is running already. The way I had the downloading set up, the visitor had to go to a page with a counter on it. So it counted the visits to that page. Of course, somebody could go to that page and then back out without downloading but .... I think the downloads were causing my host the problem.

Theoretically, I'd have thought that the downloads would have used less bandwidth than using the htmls, although I suppose one might go through the html route then download and download again every time you update. There is sometimes a temptation to run through a story more than once, particularly when you update chapters with new pages or altered animations.

I recommend a few stretching exercises or an icepak! Yeah, if she's juicy enough he'll slip in with a bit of guidance, and then he grow!

Maybe she should try being on top, then she can control what's happening - after all she has given birth to something larger than him, even if it was nearly two decades ago! (Or was it a caesarian?)

I think if he provided some oral stimulus it would solve the immediate problem and then her on top would provide a fitting solution.
