Sir, your use of lighting and all is outstanding. You stated that you used "Gimp" for the picture, how hard is it to learn the basics? As DAZ3 is driving me nuts, I think I understand something and try it and generate a new 3 yr old sketch of a cat or dog or car not sure which.

@ Hey Chief

The Gimp is a complex open source equivalent of PhotoShop. The best use of both Applications is for manipulating pictures and images that have been generated externally, either in the form of photographs or scanned in artwork, or if you really know your stuff, by means of a graphics tablet or similar. Neither App is at its best creating the artwork from scratch.

Rastifan I believe usually uses software like Daz Studio or Poser for his main posing of figures and backgrounds, and sorting out lighting etcetera, and possibly rendering the images, but he is familiar enough with the Gimp to use it for tweaking or manipulating some of the fine detail -- that pubic hair is a case in point, you've really got to know what you are doing to produce something like that with packages like the Gimp or PhotoShop. It is possible to buy a 'Pubic Hair' package suitable for, say, the Daz V4 figure from a vendor on a site like Renderotica, Renderosity, or one of several others, but as you can see it is possible to 'do your own thing' with a little ingenuity

I did this pubic hair edit manually in Gimp which is free. Skinning models does give you a perspective (as it where) on the nature of hairs. This was hard to do.

How I did the light reflecting in the hairs? I sat up some 3d grass in the same scene and studied how my light source reflected of it. Then I tried to emulate this in Gimp.

Very well done. Something makews me think it lunch time.

Hey Chief

Gimp is a picture editing program. Fairly easy to learn. Are a truck load of tutorials for it out there to help you out.

I do in fact use Gmod for the renders. I have "invented" ways to deal with the source engine. Platforms like Daz or Poser are superior, but as you have seen, Gmod is not useless.
I originally bought it to make animations in it, and I have made a few, where as one erotic, but I fell in love with posing in stead.

The short erotic clip made in Gmod is on the Naughty Machinima site. Not sure if it is ok to link there though.
It is a place for people to upload their Machinima porn.

I have in fact been scheming for a hostile world takeover for a long time.
Oddly enough many refuses to share my utopian dream of an artistic overlord rule.

Elena here is our latest model. She is still WIP. Still missing some armor and texture work.
She is a former slave girl turned outlaw. Safe to say she has issues
