I did this pubic hair edit manually in Gimp which is free. Skinning models does give you a perspective (as it where) on the nature of hairs. This was hard to do.
How I did the light reflecting in the hairs? I sat up some 3d grass in the same scene and studied how my light source reflected of it. Then I tried to emulate this in Gimp.

Hey Chief wrote:Sir, your use of lighting and all is outstanding. You stated that you used "Gimp" for the picture, how hard is it to learn the basics? As DAZ3 is driving me nuts, I think I understand something and try it and generate a new 3 yr old sketch of a cat or dog or car not sure which.
Hey Chief
Greebo wrote:Rastifan I believe usually uses software like Daz Studio or Poser for his main posing of figures and backgrounds, and sorting out lighting etcetera, and possibly rendering the images, but he is familiar enough with the Gimp to use it for tweaking or manipulating some of the fine detail -- that pubic hair is a case in point, you've really got to know what you are doing to produce something like that with packages like the Gimp or PhotoShop. It is possible to buy a 'Pubic Hair' package suitable for, say, the Daz V4 figure from a vendor on a site like Renderotica, Renderosity, or one of several others, but as you can see it is possible to 'do your own thing' with a little ingenuity
