I quite like the light and shade, the shadows appear to work well also, but ......
it just seems to me that there is something odd about the male's lower body proportions against his upper body.
For me his lower seems too heavy for his upper body.
Might that have something do with how you posed that model? Or is because of some illusion caused by the lighting?

Yes, he is wearing Y-fronts, and I really am not happy now with how I posed his arms and hands. I spent a longer time working on set and lights just to make the scene work at all, and didn't pay enough attention to those little things. And of course, he ends up in the middle of the scene, and the most luminous thing in the scene, so that's what everyone sees.

When I was new to the 3D world and was nervously ogling the 3D models, not sure where to begin, I soaked up any criticism people would find the time to give me, and
even more so from other artists who was miles better than me. They are important lessons. I cherished them and still do. In time artists becomes more independent and
learns to trust their own judgement more. But I have seen artists not taking criticism well because people are not going "THIS IS AWESOME" and in stead points out what
is needed for it to be awesome. They often progress slowly, if at all.

Pride is the artists worst enemy. Humility is what the road to success is paved with

We each have our ideals. Your Lillith is probably one of mine, you make many fine renderings, there's just something about Lillith that I really find appealing.
The same is true for every game ever posted here. Some for an unexplained reason are better than others, even when made by the same artist and using the same characters. What appeals to me in a game or drawing may drive others away! Everyone that posts here must understand it's not possible to make everyone happy!!! And some renderings and games even when given more effort will not measure up to others. Also what I think is the best you've ever offered may not even make the top ten list of someone else.
Please just give us the best you have and we'll appreciate the time and work that went into creating it.
The very worst thing anyone can do is to quit offering your product.
