Haunted Island Game - Testing & Opinions

Thanks to everybody who has helped me debug and test this game. I am no longer going to make any major changes to the gameplay, but please let me know if you are still getting errors. In general there are some resource issues that particularly effect Firefox and mobile devices with limited memory (although I managed to play the game to the end on Ipad and iphone).

As a thanks you to all those who have given me feedback, I am attaching two images which give a sneak preview of the next chapter. I am giving two possible outfit options for Amy and Hannah - if you feel like having an input on the next game please vote for your favourite. I will only count votes from members who have given me feedback.

Thanks, also added a comma to change "This is great auntie Amy" to "This is great, auntie Amy" - she is not Lucy's great aunt (and if she were she would be looking mighty fine for her age).

Daz3D - the trick is to get the lighting right. You also need a fairly powerful pc for the rendering.

I played the entire game, without crashes, using hints, or the Tab key. My final score was 618, "D", but hey, it was fun.
Two thumbs up.

Glad to hear it. I have played it through on PC (Chrome, IE, and FF) Mac (Safari), iPad and iPhone (mSafari) and the only device it still fails on is the iPhone - which it is difficult to play on due to the size anyway. I think there will still be some bugs relating to asynchronous events, but hopefully for most players it will be fine.

It is actually quite difficult to get an A, probably the average when I have played it through is a C and I have only got A a couple of times.

That would be great if you could help translate, the script is in a JSON file which is reasonably simple to edit - but I can but it into plain text file if you prefer.

Also anyone out there who is interested in translating into other languages, please let me know.

I've had best results from Chrome, but IE worked pretty well (despite destroying the layout of my website ).

It may be worth clearing your cache too.

I agree, though I question why you left out the CUTE niece.

Got through the game and enjoyed your effort, but encountered most all problems listed here.
