Haunted Island Game - Testing & Opinions

Hello all,

I have just completed an alpha version of my first HTML5 game. I would appreciate it if people could take a look.

It is a linear narrative-based game that offers some timing challenges along the way. It should work on most devices / platforms although I have only tested on PC, Ipad and Iphone with Chrome and Safari, so anybody who uses a different setup, I would appreciate your input.

Anyway, more details can be found on the site:

http://www.arniigames.eu/

Enjoy :)

UPDATE (23/6/14): I have added a brand new scene to part one.

UPDATE (23/6/14): Site redesigned and leaderboard added.

Episode 2 is in development

When I tried to connect, my browser timed out.

You might want to place a downloadable version onto g-drive or some other free file host site.

That's odd. I have changed the address to a proper IP to see if this solves the issue. Please have a look here:

Hmm, my initial look at it shows that it loads okay in Chromium under Ubuntu Linux but something goes wrong using Firefox and the game area flashes momentarily black which gives way immediately to pink, like the surround. I don't know whether its one of my plug-ins, like flashblock, causing it or whether it's something else.

Thanks greebo, I checked out firefox on Windows (and installed flashblock) and it seems ok (apart from minor CSS rendering issues). When I get access to a linux box I will have a look. I also noted that the full screen does not work in firefox.

It loaded eventually. Nice graphics. I don't particularly like 'hunt the pixel' games, and stopped playing at the point where she said for him to wait while she cleaned up. You might want to include a 'hint button'.
I'm using Windows 7 (64 bit) and Google Chrome version 35.0.1916.153 m

I'm stuck on the beach when she should remove something.
Where do I click?

Try dragging the bikini strings down :)

I'm thinking I might put a hint system so that people don't get too stuck - maybe I might have a score penalty if people use the hint - what do you think?

Touch on black circle drag and release on green. If this doesn't work, let me know what browser your using as there might be a bug.

(I have enabled these debugging circles on each scene that requires a drag)

Also, there are issues with full screen - so I would avoid using this for the time being.

No problem, this helps me make this game better.

Does this mean that you cannot advance the scene even though you are making the correct move?
