The Whakawai series is my favorite. The way the story deals with temptation, naivety and lust is very well done. This is my first attmept at writing a possible scenario for a new Whakawai game, possibly called "Whakawai Reunion". It would be a multi-part game, reuniting Hiro and Ahoroa with past characters like Jon Ruffman, as well as short aquaintances like Alancy.

Here is my vision for the first part. Sorry if it is difficult to follow, I have never written a script before.

As the game opens with the familiar island music, the scene goes from the beaches into the bedroom of Hiro and Ahoroa. They are just waking up, Ahoroa in Hiro’s arms. Their bedroom reflects a home nicer than their huts from the previous games, possibly a reflection of money earned from the movie or from Hiro’s fishing. The wall above (or beside) the bed has pictures of them with friends.

She sits on the bed and sighs “A week to ourselves, just Hiro and I.” Ahoroa longs for the more adventurous times when she and Hiro were courting, there were other adventures in the lagoon and temptation made life exciting. She is also very horny from the morning’s interrupted activity and uncharacteristically decides to masturbate on the bed.

I agree that there are some interesting ideas in this script. However, one thing bothers me: people who worked with me on a game know that I think that it is essential to have a main theme in a game, a central thread wich connects the various scenes to bring the player toward a goal at the end of the game. For example, in whakawai 1, the question during all the game is: will Ahoroa prefer fun and exciting life proposed by the tourists or the simple life with Hiro? or in rivalries: will the women who are in the House distract Chris of his love for Lola?... Each scene goes towards the final goal and if an action is moving away from the this goal, it's a bad end.

I don't see that in this script.

First, thanks for reading it Shark. It's my first attempt and I wondered if it may be a bit lengthy.

As far as an overarching theme, I was going for will Ahoroa give in to temptation due to her longing for more excitement similar to the days before she was married to Hiro. I guess that woud be similar to their past themes, will either of them give in to the temptations before them. I think that is one of the best themes of any of your games and I just wanted to try and keep it going.
I was planning on writing a second part that would explore Hiro's side with some excitement for him as well, with more choices that could be more exciting yet harmful to their relatiotnship. It would include a guest appearance from Florian, Alancy and Martin (tied in by Alancy meeting Hiro at the premiere and being enamored with him). I wrote some but had some trouble tying it together at the end.

Hiro: “Thank you for the invitation, but I’m just in from the sea and need to shower.”
Martin: “We have more than enough showers for you to clean up back in the suite. Don’t make me go back with only a story to tell.”

Martin: “Sir, this is the freshest fish the lagoon has to offer. And it was not the only prize I brought back.”
Alancy, laying on the beach chair with her hat and sunglasses on, turns her head to listen.
Florian: “ Lunch shall be splendid. What other “prize” are you referring to Martin?”

Thanks all, I really appreciate it. Like I said this is the first time I've ever really tried to write a script or put scenes together. I had honestly never put any thought into writing games or anything of that nature. I have written a sports related blog off and on. I just stumbled onto these types of games a little over a year ago and from what I've seen, Shark's games are the best or at least appealed to me the most. Having played them numerous times I found that this particular series stuck with me and I could see lots of possible paths the characters could go. I figured I would share them.

I'm not well versed in writing code or graphic design, but I'd be willing to give story writing a shot if someone wanted help.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought about possible "quickie" scenarios with Jon and Ahoroa. But the central goal of the Whakawai games, seemingly, has been to get Ahoroa to fully give her body over.
