Hello Fleet,

Welcome to the forum. I'm interested in seeing your work, but I tend to avoid registering with a bunch of places. Any chance you can put your work someplace that doesn't require a registration?

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. I like your avatar. I'm glad you are interested in seeing my work.

I prefer to upload at wolflore. Wolflore is tightly moderated, rudeness is not allowed (you can express your opinion and offer constructive criticism, but non-constructive insults are not tolerated).

I can see how many times the game has been downloaded.
Registrants have to verify that they are legally allowed to view adult content material.
Wolflore has forums where registered members can post feedback, or ask for assistance if they have trouble with the visual novel.
Many free host sites don't allow this sort of material, and sometimes free hosts sites drop files (broken links are a pain in the posterior).

Very respectfully,
fleet

I'll wager if asked Shark is open to posting a few samples of your work. That and a link to your works might pay huge benefit.

Hello. I have been given the ability to start new topics. I'll start a new topic for my next 'revised' project. It won't be right away, Beta testing is still a few days away (real life keeps interfering with visual novel writing and graphic design).

Very respectfully,
fleet

Hi fleet,

I find not nice that one must register himself every time somewhere to be able to have a look at the works.
Show sometimes please whether you do not have one more link where one must not register himself.

Regards

While I act on Shark's behalf in many cases this is not one I am at ease doing. Please PM him and ask. If my board I would expect no less.
With equal respect

I'm not sure what you are saying. I'm not really interested in asking shark to host my games here.
Very respectfully,
fleet.

I think LRM was suggesting that Shark might consider giving some space at "Shark's Lagoon" under the Contributions section, but if it was your desire. The suggestion would appear to me that LRM thought such an idea might divert some interest to the location which you have chosen. But then, there is nothing to be lost by offering us some screen shoots at "Sexy girls" or "The beach".

Thank you. Marjorie's story has gotten over 80 downloads since I uploaded it.

At least two have raised concern about the necessity of registering to download or even view your work. I was suggesting you publish a small sample here to at least highlight what you offer at the other site. If a new topic under "Sexy Girls" I doubt there wold be any problem or need for Shark's approval. Anything more involved (IE "il Joker") would require his blessing.

Hello. I only want to post/link my best work here on Sharks Lagoon. Most of my previous work (prior to Marjorie's Story) is pretty crappy (no save/load menus, hard to read text). Making revisions takes time. When I have another VN ready, I will link to it. I will try to post a screen shot of the next VN in the sexy girls thread.

Several people have mentioned that the in game videos don't work.

This is a list of video cards that for some reason are unable to run Novelty. (this is from the Novelty site).
Manufacturer Video Hardware
3dfx Voodoo Banshee
Voodoo Series
Voodoo 2 Series
Voodoo 3 Series
Voodoo 4 Series
Voodoo 5 Series

ATI 3D (Charger / Pro Turbo / Xpression) Series
Rage (II / IIc / Pro) Series
Xpert (98 / @play / @work) Series
Rage 128 (Pro) Series
All in Wonder (Pro / Rage 128)
Rage MAXX
Radeon 7000

Intel Extreme Graphics (82810 / 82815) Series

Matrox Millenium G200 Series

Millenium G400 Series
Millenium G450 Series
Millenium G550 Series
P750/P650 Series

nVidia Riva 128 Series
TNT Series
TNT2 (M64 / Pro) Series
GeForce 256

S3 Graphics UniChrome Series
AlphaChrome Series
Savage Series
ViRGE Series

SiS/Trident SiS300 Series
SiS500 Series
SiS600FX/SiS600MX Series
SiS700 Series
Trident Blade Series

If you post what video card you have, what OS you use, and what version of DirectX you have installed I can ask at the Novelty web site how to correct the problem.
Reminder, per the readme, Novelty REQUIRES you have Directx 9 installed on your PC. You can have Directx 9 installed and it will NOT conflict with Directx10 or Directrx 11.

Very respectfully,
fleet

Hi Fleet,
I spent a pleasant moment with Marjorie.
The artworks are interesting and the stoty is nice . Just a thought : I think that you will progress quickly while working a little the sceneries (the characters seem more realistic with a 3D scenery than with an picture in background).

What a pity that your work is hosted in a private board. if your work had been bad, I would have been very in anger because the forced registering. Fortunately, this is not the case. :D
Continue and don't hesitate to propose us your novels.

@shark,
Thank you for the kind words. Some of my work IS really bad. I only want my best stories linked here. When I make a completely new visual novel, I will follow your advice on 3D scenery. Here's an example.
