Greetings. Version 2 is complete, tested (as well as it can be by the person who coded it). Enjoy.

Getting to Know (and love) Brenda
Notes
This game was conceived and developed as a way for the author to learn some stuff about Flash, Poser, animation and the blending of interactions with music and sound effects.
As for future plans, the author is just not sure. At a certain point he reached some kind of size/quality threshold in Flash for a compressed self-contained application. This was probably due to the sheer number of 800 X 600, 72 and 150 DPI bitmaps and FLV animations. In order to maintain the graphic quality, the file has been built without compression, so its pretty big (60+ MB).
He has 2 more "dates" with Brenda in mind and may obsess to the point of using the framework of this game to house another big bunch of rendered graphics. (The author is also having a lot of trouble writing in the third person ;-) He has even more respect now than he did before for the super high quality games of this sort that are out there and plans to keep his day job.
Author's Self-Imposed Game Criteria
Must...
...be a stand-alone Flash application
...require no access to any local or web server files
...have a flow that is more like a comic book
...be an erotic male fantasy with a subtle moral compass (without being prudish)
...respect women
Stuff that was added, fixed or enhanced (In case anyone besides the author really cares to know ;-)
General
1. Used time delays and "fade to and from black" transitions to improve the timing of some elements (hopefully making it a little more "cinematic")
2. Added various ambient, effect and musical sounds
House Map
1. Rollover text now appears near mouse pointer and manages to stay on the screen
2. Hotspots made bigger upon request (At least he didn't turn off the hand cursor!)
3. Added "ding" sound when item found
4. In Date 2 a player can proceed on the date without having found all needed items (annoying but kind of standard for these kinds of games)
Known Problems (Translation: Things the author gave up trying to fix or add)
1. Passing mouse pointer over dialog text boxes sometimes causes them to temporarily expand downwards
2. If the the advance button is clicked too fast after an animation when a sound loop is playing, the sound may not fade properly
3. In full screen mode some of the dialog does not display
4. The graphics to not always depict the time of day when they are seen
Many thanks to the people on the Shark's Lagoon forum for their feedback, and to the generous and tireless developers who share their knowledge on the Internet, and to the 1100 cc Yamaha motorcycle that carried the author on one or two adventures of his own.
