About Tales of the Drunken Cowboy (Homepage)
What is there to say? An MC-themed adult adventure game, set in a sci-fi world. It's heavily influenced by the anime "Cowboy Bebop", the videogame "Mass Effect", and is full of quotes from many games and movies I experienced in my life. It tells the story of Celeste Blake (current owner of the Drunken Cowboy, a not-so-new-anymore spaceship) and her friends, as they try to solve a rather unusual problem she has found herself in during their travels.

I played some older Versions from this Game and I loved it. It is one of the best RAG Games I ever played.

Noticed this game isn't getting much discussion, and just thought I'd add a note to say how good it is. Much bigger and more varied then many other RAGS games and with a bit of humour, plus for a goldfish like me an option to reiterate what quest(s) you are meant to be doing when you re-load it. I can't praise this game highly enough. There's just so much in it. Possibly missing something but the game seems quite a way from being finished as I only seem to be able to go to 1 other planet and a space station and to get any kind of finish you neeed to visit a couple more planets but there has been so much to do on just one planet. I realise playing a female character with mind control elements may not be everybody's cup of tea but this is a seriously good game. Think I may have run out of things to do but there is a lot of humour, references and scenarios to keep anyone happy for several hours. The game does not seem repetetive because the scenarious are always fresh.

I just discovered this about a week ago. It doesnt seam like its that far along yet but to me it is already a great game. There are many things to do in just one place which keeps you from having to do the same thing over and over. I cant wait and see what the creator has in-store for the future.

Things that were added since last release:

More scenes to Malena's romance;

The beginning of Piper's romance;

A new planet (Verania), which includes another part of the main quest and at least 3-4 side quests (you might not see all of them, depending on your choices) some random events, new NPCs and items;

Some more random events during travels;

The groper scene on Europa 4 has other scenes after the first one;

The sexy lingerie is not just a useless waste of money anymore;

You can build your own fighting drone;

I added a mini-quest to follow the "vase retrieval quest" (incidentally, I also made this quest easier, and hopefully fixed some old issues it had for a while);

More dialogues with your crew;

And a lot of minor things here and there (scenes changed/improved; some code optimized, the usual stuff. Oh, and you can skip the first mission, now, so you don't have to go through it again and again and again. You still can't skip the intro, though! You'll have to click that "continue" button a lot!).

latest version crashes with rags player 2.4.0.0

The download page says that you need RAGS Player 2.4.14

Tu as téléchargé la version de RAGS sur ragsgame.com ? Les liens pour installer RAGS venant d'un autre site que ragsgame.com ne sont pas toujours fiables.

J'ai la même version que toi et j'ai pas de problèmes avec les jeux RAGS. Tu as essayé de désinstaller/réinstaller le logiciel ?

Avant d'installer RAGS 2.4.14 tu as bien installé l'appli .net framework ? C'est peut-etre un soucis de Java (mise à jour à effectuer).
