first time i play with this RAGS system and have no clue about it

With Ulead SmartSaver you can reduce the dimension of your pics, and reduce the game to about 1Mb, or less.

I'm not sure if you finished the game, because there almost 100 pics and for sure those cannot be reduced to only 1 MB. Anyway, some of these pictures are 1280xdifferent_resolution and probably can be reduced to 1024. I kept them at 1280 since I assume some of the people around here are playing the game on high resolutions.

I'm opened to suggestions and if everyone is happy with small resolutions like 1024, than I can reduce the size of the pictures and also the size of the game.

Yads, If you use the last Rags Designer you don't need the Ulead, the software has a picture adjustment tool inside to reduce the size of images, that works similar to Ulead.
About all Rags games work with 20-50 Kb maximum per picture and it's enough in your kind of pictures, so 100 pics will turn about 2 to 5 Mb maximum. And I work with 1280x1024 display.
Perhaps I exaggerate with the 1Mb, sorry, but you have 22Mb!
I really plaid one good ending, and I didn't search more. Don't ask me why! please.

In my opinion you don't need more than 512, provided you have reasonable originals. After all the images box by default takes only 50% of the game window.

Now about the game itself I can't say anything just yet because after all my tries (and I'm rather experienced with RAGS) I couldn't find what Tjommi called "your trap". Can you give us just a small hint, please?

It's not a version's problem. Having almost 90 versions of the puppy, I've tried with both 0.9.9.2 and 1.3.0.0 (the last official) and get the same results. It must be something that is under our noses and we don't see it...

I am looking forward to the next part of the game. To you guys that can't get it to work, try getting the latest player.

Thanks for suggestion, Tjommi, but as I said it's not a question of version. Besides the game was done with v0.9.9.2, otherwise it wouldn't open with it.

What I would appreciate was a small hint for bypassing the now irritating sleeping beauty...
