Hi, I noted that apostrophes are replaced by strange letters.

"You’ll" should be "You'll", "aren’t" should be "aren't" and so on. It happens only to me?

That seems to be really weird, never heard of this before. What's your OS? Are you using the 2.4.14 version of RAGS? In the RAGS player there is an "edit" tab, could you try to use "adjust font", and see if that might fix the problem?

It happened only at the beginning, when Darenzia was speaking.

I tried to uninstall rags and install again and now it's working fine

Just extract the files in the TOTDC folder, and overwrite.

A hotfix for the normal version, fixing a few extranet related crashes, and a puzzle not recognizing the proper answer if you used spaces between numbers. Hopefully, no more bugs are found for this version.

If you overwrite the content of the last web version with the new one, you should be able to use your old saves (hopefully). There are barely any fixes compared to the last RAGS version, but still there was at least one bug and a "glitch" that were brought to my attention, so those should be dealt with. The web version got the same treatment, nothing major, but it should address those few issues (it might have more of them, as I got help to fix it only recently, but it seems to be in good shape now).

Do I need to download the original file and then all the patches, or there's a complete pack somewhere? And what are the differences between normal and web versions? I'm new to RAGS, so please excuse me if I'm asking something dumb .

Oh man, I am so sorry for replaying this late. I don't get many comments here, so I forget to check more often. For the web version, you need to download both files, and then overwrite the old files with the ones in the patch. The difference is mainly in the interface (the web version is sadly a little shabby), but they are supposed to be the same, it's just that the non-web version requires its own program to run, and people who don't have windows are unable to use it, so I also uploaded the web version.

I hope you figured it out before my reply, but if you didn't, I hope this can help you. Sorry again for the insanely late reply.

Here is the basic changelog:

The final quest is in the game (well, I sure hope this would be in the game for the 1.0 version XD);

Increasing your relationship with others as friends will net you extra scenes, and depending on who you are befriending, extra items;

Several new random scenes here and there in the game;

The home base you can buy now has extra content (related to maxed out romance and fully upgrading the base);

A mini-quest related to the sexy officer in the red light district;

Extra events/activities for the entertainment district on Europa 4;

Maltik now has a bar, a shop, a side-quest, and another place you'll have to find by going to the bar (^_^);

Some extra items here and there.

There might be something I am missing, but I figure this is all of the important stuff.

I wish to thank everyone for the support (and the patience! XD) so far, hopefully you'll enjoy the game. There might be a small update in the future (and of course bugfixing will still be happening as reports come in), but this is the turning point for me and TOTDC, as it won't be the main game I am working on anymore.

The web version will be available eventually, when I send all the files to my anonymous helper, and he sends me back the fixed version (it shouldn't be long, but since I have yet to send him the files, I'll go with "it's done when it's done" for now).

Maybe I'll write my thoughts on the game after a week or two, after the dust settles. For now, I might just try to relax a little. Anyway, enjoy the game, and stay tuned if you want to keep tabs on what I am doing! ^_^
