In Braveheart they lift the backs of their kilts and waggle their bare arses at the English, but you have to take that with a pinch of salt because I'm not sure any of the cast were Scots, least of all Mel Gibson, and it wasn't filmed in Scotland but Ireland! (Most of the extras in the armies were Irish with many of the same extras on both sides!)

trust you lot to ask that!! In my experience (I am English but have a Scottish Fiance) they wear nothing under their kilts... its easier to go to the toilet, and gets hot being the main reason... but I'm sure you can all think of another reason it might be useful

Saw something on TV, the a topless Scots team meeting the Kiwis in the Rugby. Seems the haka was no match for what the Kiwis saw when the Scots raised their kilts! :crazy:
